Title: Happy and safe 4th of july

I want to wish everyone a happy and safe 4th. If you are lighting fireworks or going to see them be careful. I have seen too many accidents over the years.

i will watch the fireworks on tv since i have to be up early the next day.

I'm going to watch the Macy's Fireworks Show also.  I have been to many live ones over the years and it is extremely humid here.  I am going to pass on the live show for those reasons.  I will be watching from the safety and comfort of my couch.  Everyone else, be safe and enjoy!

I hope that people are teaching their children the true meaning of the holiday. It kind of gets lost in the shuffle with people being off work and doing the firework thing.  :star:

And don't forget to thank a veteran. We owe them so much and they're so grateful when you acknowledge their service.  :peace:

Thanks for your good wishes. My family stays safe by staying off the roads and by not lighting any fireworks at our house at all. Some kids down the street from me are setting some off and I worry about them getting hurt.

Happy 4th July!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like I am staying in too night. I am not a big 4th person but I am glad other people do enjoy the holiday.

I love my  country, but I do not or we do not drink and  raise heck partying.  The f ire works that are put on buy  or town are  great. but some people have no respect for others  and will set them off until wee hours of the night. Older  people are  trying to sleep, the  dogs are so scared.  And in our  case hubby was  really hurting.  He had a fight with the table saw and the saw  won.  Had 32 stiches in his had because of it and it  was throbbing so darn bad and when tried to doze  even a little  the fireworks kept him awake. Yep  we were up all night. Just wish I could have  done more for him.
