I got a real shock out of this article and want to share it with more people than might have seen it, as I never saw it before and it is old
I keep cats but nothing that even comes close to Loki!

There’s a new grumpy cat in town, and he’s taking Instagram by storm. If you’ve ever wondered what pure disappointment looked like, then meet Loki the Sphynx cat. Naming a cat after one of the most sinister villains in comic books may be inappropriate to most, but with Loki, it fits like a glove. Although he does look like an old man who spent all his years brewing a plot to enslave all of mankind, let me assure you that he is just a cat. A very, very judgmental cat, but also as cute as a cat can be, according to his owners. So if you’re tired of other people judging your life decisions, just look at these pictures and know that Loki is judging you too. You can see more of Loki on his Instagram.
Move Aside Grumpy Cat, Loki Is The New Grumpiest Cat In The World. Meet Loki, a Sphynx cat who looks like an old man shouting at you to get off his lawn. Loki lives with his human family - Sara and Brent from Brooklyn, NY. “This cat has more personality and sass than any animal I have ever met," Sara told to a blog Girls And Their Cats. "We are inseparable. We are best friends.".
Update: Loki passed the rainbow bridge on May 6, 2018, but his Instagram stays active to honor the time he spent in this world making his humans’ life special.

Apr 19, 2018 · Loki is a hairless Sphinx cat who is Instagram famous because he always has a grumpy look on his face. But looks can be deceiving, his owner Sara Anderson has previously told the website Girls and Their Cats that he is "affectionate, cuddly, and chatty." After she adopted Loki in October 2014, Anderson started an Instagram for the cat and it's taken off.

This does not look grumpy. It looks evil. The grumpy cat died not long ago.
As for this cat - I do not think I could handle having it in my house. lol
-
This cat does not look very lovable. But I've heard, "looks are deceiving." Could be a sweetpea.
-
That is definitely an odd looking cat....one I would not pick up to adopt or bring home. He looks like he needs a sweater.
-
AAAAAAAAHHHhhhhhhh wtf?
-
Poor Kitty. Needs to reverse the wrinkles on his face to make him look like he's smiling. :pumpkin:
-
Really looks old with all those wrinkles. Not his fault he looks like that.
-
definitely a weird looking cat...loks mad and evil...but i bet its a sweetie pie...
-
He looks like he belongs on a Star Trek episode.
-
I have seen these type cats before although I'm not sure it was this particular one! Poor baby looks permanently mad. Either mad or it needs a face lift! But, as another poster stated, you can never tell a book by its cover. It might be the most loveable cat!!
-
Seriously that's either a Abyssinian or Sphynx cat. They are hairless cats and are worth a lot of money. A purebred will go for a couple hundreds.
-
That cat looks like a killer.

As for fully registered kittens with breeding rights, their price depends greatly on the breeder’s reputation, pedigrees and how purebred the kittens are. Normal pedigree Sphynx cats cost from $1500 to $3000.

This does not look like a cat, although there are people who have hairless cats. Just creeps me out personally.
-
He does look grumpy, he is cute, would love to have one.
-
Me no like this cat!
-
Not a pet person and never will be. Takes too much time to care for a pet.
-
Looks like an alien, I like him
-
I saw those pics, and he does look grumpy. maybe he is cold.
-
I would be freaked out if I came across this cat. I'm not a cat person at all (sorry)..this cat looks EVIL to the core! 😈😼
-
I was just thinking he looks grumpy, but seeing him all costumed up I can see why. These cats do need sweaters to help them regulate heat since they have no fur, but dressing him up like a hotdog? :(
-
Wow, he does look like a grumpy old man! I can almost hear him saying, "Get off my lawn!" In a way he's adorable, though. More power to him, LOL! :peace:
-
Oh my gosh. The cat looks pissed.
-
That cat looks like it belongs in an Austin Powers movie. ;D

???
I looked here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphynx_cat for more information on this breed, sharing some photos (4) here too below:
These breed standards are defined by The International Cat Association (TICA):[3]
Wedge-shaped heads with prominent cheekbones
Large, lemon-shaped eyes
Very large ears with no hair on inside, but soft down on outside base
Well-muscled, powerful neck of medium length
Medium length torso, barrel-chested, and full, round abdomen, sometimes called a pot belly
Paw pads thicker than other cats, giving the appearance of walking on cushions
Whiplike, tapering tail from body to tip, (sometimes with fur all over tail or a puff of fur on the tip, like a lion)
Muscular body[3]
Behaviour[edit]
A male purebred Sphynx in the "mink" pattern. Like a pointed cat, the mink pattern also exhibits darker points: the ears, tips of tail, feet and nose. However, whereas the pointed pattern is entirely colorless everywhere else on the body, the mink coloration has some color throughout the body and just slightly darker points in adulthood. The mink pattern can be combined with any color.[4]
Sphynxes are known for their extroverted behavior. They display a high level of energy, intelligence, curiosity, and affection for their owners.[5] They are one of the more dog-like breeds of cats, frequently greeting their owners at the door and friendly when meeting strangers.
History of the cat breed[edit]
Although hairless cats have been reported throughout history, breeders in Europe have been working on the Sphynx breed since the early 1960s. Two different sets of hairless felines discovered in North America in the 1970s provided the foundation cats for what was shaped into the existing Sphynx breed.
The contemporary breed of Sphynx cat, also known as the Canadian Sphynx, is distinct from the Russian hairless cat breeds like Peterbald and Donskoy.
-
That is, bar none, the most evil and ugly cat I have ever seen.
-
I do not have any pets yet but my girl wants a large dog. Hopefully we can agree on a medium size lol.
-
Oh poor kitty. Hairless cats are no different than any other cat. They just need a kitty sweater. A lot of people that love cats but are allergic to them often get the hairless ones.
-
This kitty would make a good star on Star Trek or some kind of Alien movie.
-
Weird looking cat. I have 3 myself and all i suppose are cute, but pains.
-
I don't think hairless cats are cute. These cats looks scary and strange. Especially their tails. :sad1:

:cat:
How about this little guy? Very colorful, expensive and a bit scary with the leopard coat!
The most expensive cat in the world (at this point in time at least) is a little Asian leopard cat named Zeus (this picture is not of the actual Zeus, but similar).
Only 10% short hair domestic cat and 90% Asian leopard, Zeus is said to be around US$150,000, however, many have their doubts as to why or whether this price is real.

I just like how many different looking cats there are, love them all, mostly there personalitys :cat:I have six cats and each cat has there own little personality,i wouldn't know what to do with out them :)

I'll send you some of my ferals. :) I'm down to 8 now. I used to have 14. I didn't plan on it. They just find their way here, drop litters and leave. I can't get close to them except for one tiny kitten from the last litter (doesn't even weigh 2 lb. and is almost 3 months old (3 siblings died), one young one from an earlier litter who is so pretty who has taken the little guy under his wing, an older male who was injured by a fall, and his sister. I tried so hard to socialize the kittens without success except for the little guy (I call Wags because he wags his tail like a dog), his keeper (Fearless because he's not afraid of anything), Neuro (because of his accident), and Mom (because I can't think of a name for her). I didn't name the others because they might be leaving next spring.
But-----we'd rather have a dog. :)

LOL. I loved grumpy cat and ow I love this one too!

Pallas Cat
In the grasslands and steppes of Central Asia live this curious species of small wild cats with thick coats that make them look far bigger than they are. These solitary animals spend most of the day in caves and only emerge in the late afternoon to start hunting. Habitat degradation and hunting have seen these felines become threatened.
-
I have seen cats like that before and they are not my cup of tea. I like cats that look like cats who have fur. :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat:

I'd still love that cat.

This is so sad! :(
Four mountain gorillas, including a baby, have been killed in Uganda by a suspected lightning strike, wildlife officials say.
The gorillas were killed Monday in Mgahinga National Park, according to the Greater Virunga Transboundary Collaboration, a wildlife conservation partnership serving the region.
“Based on the gross lesions from the post-mortem, field assessment observation and history, the tentative cause of death for all four individuals is likely to be electrocution by lightning,” the officials said. Confirmation of the cause of death is expected in two to three weeks
An endangered species, mountain gorillas are the world’s smallest population of gorillas, according to the World Wildlife Fund. The gorillas inhabit the Virunga Mountain Range, which spans Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources says that there are about 600 mature mountain gorillas remaining, but the population is increasing.

I would never own any kind of pet that looks like this. I mean why does this even exist anyway. I another man made pet to sell to a bunch of people that like to throw their money away.

Got it done!! 3 yr rabies for my pup and only took about hour at the Vet clinic! We have a great clinic every week, they do shots, exams, ears, express the dogs, and just about anything else for pets you can imagine! Love them! Used to use Banfield at PetSmart but the plans were climbing higher and higher every month so had to switch!
Next, is license time, mandatory here (got till April) Yay for me!

We have to save our wildlife from ourselves again!! Please comment on this! This website has some very graphic pictures of cruel treatment of elephants, so be forewarned.
Read entire article here:
https://focusingonwildlife.com/news/herd-of-32-elephants-could-be-killed-after-conservationist-was-trampled/
A herd of 32 elephants could potentially be culled after a conservationist was trampled in South Africa.
South African architect-turned-conservationist, Beyers Coetzee was trampled and killed by a pair of elephant bulls on Mawana Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal province last week.
He fired two shots into the air in an attempt to scare the elephants in the right direction, but instead this provoked the bulls to charge and trample him, his brother-in-law, Johannes van der Walt told News24.

Looks like a tiny newborn kangaroo to me.

This cat does not look very lovable. But I've heard, "looks are deceiving." Could be a sweetpea.
I think he's so ugly, he's cute. I really love cats.
-
If looks could kill, the look in that cat's eyes would destroy a LOT of lives, LOL.
-
I think the animals are doing well and sort of like it better with out all the humans at the zoos and parks LOL Al tho my cat might not agree,,, he still looks at me like why are yu still home !!!! I try not to invade his space to much but there are times I just have to walk into a room whee he is at !!
-
I've never seen anything like that!!! He really does look like he's in a bad mood, but you know the old saying, "You can't judge a book by its cover!"
-
He is definitely different looking but who knows, he could be the sweetest little cat.
