Are you in good habit of waking up at the same time naturally or do you need an alarm set? How late would you sleep without it?

I always wake between 7.00 and 7.15. Even if I'm up later than normal the night before I still wake up at the same time.
When I do set the alarm I am always awake before it goes off,

That is kind of hard to answer because I wake up every hour or two throughout the night due to pain. But anymore I pretty much give it up and get up for breakfast by 10:30

I'm pretty good at waking up at what time I need to wake up. I haven't used an alarm in years because I don't like to be wakened that way.
I usually start waking up earlier than I want to get up so I listen to the radio until around 7:00 a.m. or so depending on what's going on that day. There are times I get up earlier so I can get more done but I'm not sure that works for me, but it's still a good idea. Right?

It depends...my schedule fluctuates I often go to bed at different times and some nights feel more tired than others.

I am every morning between 5;30 AM and 6: am. Even as a child I would get up. My stepfather could not believe when he and mom got married. He would get up and I would already be up fixing breakfast and would have already built up the fire in the boiler. Still the same way.

I very rarely use an alarm and no matter when I go to bed I always wake up around 5 am

I don't use an alarm, since I have nowhere to go and all day to get there. I usually go to bed about midnight and wake up anywhere between 2 AM and 9 AM, follwed by a couple of naps to break up the day.

I get up between 6:30 and 6:45. It doesn't matter when I go to bed this is when I get up, it's not so bad in summer but when we change the clocks it's dark outside.

Before I was retired I would wake up around 6am with no alarm. Now I need an alarm to get me up.

I.m retired but I wake up at 4:30 every morning because that is the time I had to get up for over 35 years for work and still the time my husband gets up for work but I will admit I sneak and lay back down for a nap mid morning most days after I get a few chores done and some things on FC done

I usually wake up about 5:30 to exercise -- if I can sleep in, I go back to sleep. I've been sleeping really well & through the night lately & it coincided with me drinking almond milk in my breakfast cereal. Looked it up & it turns out almond milk as tryptophan in it -- the same thing in turkey that makes you sleepy. So if you're looking for a product that might help you get a good night sleep, you might try almond mild & see if it works for you. :)

I have an eternal clock, i can wake up without an alarm clock for years, my body just wakes me up.

I generally wake up between 6am and 6:30am. Every once in awhile I surprise myself and sleep in tll 8am.

I have never been one to us an alarm to wake me, no matter what time I need to get up.

8 a.m. is my normal wake up time, but sometimes I wake at 7:00 or 7:30 or 9:00.

I am pretty good at waking up around four every morning. On Saturdays I force myself back to sleep until five thirty and Sundays I force myself back to sleep until six (the extra two hours is my reward if I feel that I have accomplished all of my weekly goals). This is true, even when I go on the occasional vacation. I used to have a third shift job for about six years as I pumped life into my self employed business and I was never able to fully adapt. Even though I only sleep four to six hours per evening, I could not get that to translate to sleeping during the days. I got quite good at taking ten minute catnaps here and there but was never fully rested (so glad to be done with third shift). To this day I can sneak away for twenty minutes, instantly fall asleep for fifteen minutes and come back completely revived.

I rarely use an alarm. Sometimes I wake up at the same time naturally or if I am tired I get up at a different time.

This morning it was 2:25. I thought it was 5:10 and I had overslept! I haven't used an alarm clock to get up in many years.

I would probably get up around 8 or 8:30 without an alarm clock. I need it to get up on time.

I don't really need an alarm anymore. Either my dog or cat wakes me up before my alarm goes off. I'm not a morning person, but I've been getting up around 5-6am for so many years, it's become habit. Even though I'm kind of a zombie until around 9 or 10am. LoL

I wake up when I want usually around 9. I'm disabled . Remember getting up to take kids to school had to have an alarm .

i love the mornings its my favorite time of the day!! i love to get up before everyone in the house and have those rare moments of peace. so i aim for 6 to 630am. i think i would naturally wake up on my own but use an alarm just encase

I never sleep past 10:30.

it all depends. If i know I have something early in the morning my body is sometimes anxious and will wake me up super early because I'm afraid to miss it. I'm also on steroids rn so I wake up every couple of hours to go pee. I dont think that counts as waking up naturally haha.

I'm usually awake between 6 and 7. Some days much earlier due to insomnia.

If I talk myself to it I can wake up at 11 AM in the weekdays and on the weekends around 2pm.

i have to use an alarm as Monday thru Friday i wakes up at one time and the same time and a different time on the weekend.

Normally i wake up 6:30 to 7 every morning like clockwork unless I stay up really late that sometimes breaks that cycle. Otherwise, it stays the same

I always use an alarm. When I take a nap during the day, I use a timer. If I didn't use an alarm, I would probably oversleep.

Generally between 5:30-6:00 AM, if I have no scheduled appointments I will go back to sleep! I use alarm on my phone when I am traveling; just to make sure I give myself time to get to airport!!!

It depends on what time I go to bed. I am usually still up past 1:00AM to 2. I rise from my bed about 10AM sometimes sooner.

I wake up about the same time every morning. I have never figured out these people who "sleep" all day on the weekend. I don't think they are really sleeping. Just being lazy and laying in the bed all day.

I wake up at about the same time every morning - 6:30 - whether or not I have an alarm set. I force myself to get out of bed then because my hubby usually makes breakfast for 7 a.m. and I like to be dressed and ready to eat the meal at that time.

Without my alarm, I generally wake up between 2 - 4 AM. I am a natural early bird, which may explain why my body is so accustomed to waking up at these early hours.

I never use an Alarm. I always wake up at 4 am. I like to get up ahead of everyone and get my Housework done. Then I get My Husband up to go to Work. I have the rest of the Day to myself.

we are retired...so no alarm...we are usually up by 8 ...me anyway...he may get up beteen 5 and 8

I only use the alarm if I have an appt. to get to that day, otherwise I get up between 7-8 am

I wake up at about the same time every day without an alarm and that Is 6:30 a.m. I usually wait for my husband to wake up before getting out of bed though as I don't want to disturb him. He is always up by 7 am. without an alarm too.

I have to have my regular alarm and my phone alarm I am not a morning person so I could sleep for awhile without my alarm..

I don't use an alarm at all. My body just knows when to get up even if I go to bed too late.

I don't have a real good habit of waking up around the same time. But, instead of a setting a physical alarm, setting an internal alarm would be better so I get the 8 hours I need no matter how late I got bed.

yeah a couple weeks of the same routine I just seem to naturally fall into a habit of waking up at the same time.

i think i would naturally wake up around 7 but that is just a guess bc i have 2 young kids so sleeping in is something i dont usually get :)

My body will let me know when it is time to get out of bed.
I use the clock alarm only when I have an important event.

I usually wake up between 5-7 without an alarm. And never after 8.

It really depends on the day but for the most part I would wake up between 8am and 8:30am. Sometimes I wake up earlier, sometimes I wake up later.

I will sleep 12 hours or more if not artificially woken up with an alarm clock, so I guess I don't have a very good sleep rhythm. Also, I have a problem with being much more wakeful at night than during the day. When I was a kid I used to look out my bedroom window all night because I couldn't sleep, and I don't think it's gotten any better since I've been an adult, LOL! :peace:

I'm not sure because lately I have been waking up at odd times because I have to go to the bathroom. If I have to wake up at a certain time I will wake up several times to check the clock.

Me Too!. But without a clock I wake up between 5 and 5:30. It does not seem to matter what time I go to bed.

Typically I wake up about 5:30 without an alarm b/c I have dogs that want to get up and get fed! Occassionally I am lucky enough to sleep until 6:00!

My son wakes me up every morning between 7 and 8.

today I didnt wake up till 1pm! But I drove all day yesterday, had a funeral to go to at the other end of the state, driving wipes me out :(
