If you had to pick another a state to live in which would it be? I think I would pick west coast California or Washington, or Oregon since I'm on the East coast currently in Pennsylvania. Something completely different would be interesting I think.
-
Ive already lived there, but moved. But would like to go back and live in Wyoming
-
The one I live in now.
-
I lived in CT, new jersey and missouri. Missouri was too hot and new jersey was fun. Eventually I made it back to CT. People asked me why I came back, I always tell them the food is good and the mets are the next state over
-
South Carolina!
-
I currently live in Georgia, which gets super hot and humid in the summer. If I could pick another state to live in, it would probably be Tennessee, in the Smoky Mountains area. Much less heat, much less humidity, but still not freezing with tons of snow. I grew up in Illinois, so I've had enough snow and freeze to last a lifetime, LOL! :peace:
-
I've never lived in any other state than Utah and if I'm being completely honest....
I love living here.
The only way that would change is if I was terminally ill I would want to relocate and move to a place where the Death with Dignity Act has been legalized.
Just sayin....

We live in a lot of different states when I was a kid, pretty happy here in Tennessee.
-
Hawaii - in particular, Hilo.
-
If I couldn't stay where I am, I would probably take my chances in Wyoming. It is probably the most tax-friendly state with no income tax and relatively low sales and property taxes. But I could be persuaded if another state turned out to be better at letting me keep more of my own money.
-
I guess I would choose to stay in Michgan but I could be persuaded to go to Oregon or back to Hawaii. I have vacationed in Hawaii multiple times and love it. However, on my fixed income, I'd probably be in a shack on the beach existing on a coconut per day!
-
I would likely pick NC in the mountain region but at my age and physical lack of mobility that area would not work for me. I guess I have always been and will remain a Florida girl.
-
Probably somewhere on the southern east coast. I live on the east coast now and other than hurricanes it is a good place to live.
-
I'm a Georgia girl, don't think I would want to live anywhere else. If I could live in a State where the weather is not too hot and not too cold. Somewhere in between would be aight.
-
Cali or Hawaii
-
I probably wouldn't pick the one I am in now, but it sure is nice to be here anyway.
-
Not sure where I would like to move to. I do want a warmer weather State, but not when the index is 115 degrees.
-
I want to move to a state that's warm all year round with no snow. I used to live in Hawaii but it's expensive and I'd only move back when I hit the lotto.
-
Which ever state has relatively low crime rate, is warm most of the year and where I don't pay state taxes.
-
I have lived in Texas my whole life but if I had to pick another state I think it would be New Hampshire!
-
I have plans to live in Cali, NC, and Philly.
-
I live in the nicer part of Ar now and bc my children are top priority and my support system is here this is currently where I want to be but half my kids are grown so I'm definitely preparing to move on.
-
Ive always thought the islands would be a great place to retire.

I moved from So. Calif. in 1969 to Oregon and have no desire to stay any longer than a couple of weeks anywhere else and I have been to most other States including Hawaii and Alaska.
-
Either New York (where I am from originally), Georgia, or Tennessee.
-
I live in Las Vegas and it is the only state I would want to live out my life. Moved here in 1998 from MIchigan.
-
western coast of Cali or seattle washington;Hawaii wouldnt be bad but a major costly move.
-
I'm not sure! I've lived in Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina and California and they each have their own unique aspects.
-
I live in a place where there is always cold and snow and I hate it. Any place where it is warm year round (not hot). I hate cold weather.
-
I do not know if I would choose to live in the state but I have always wanted to visit and stay awhile in Seattle, Washington.
-
That would be hard, but I do know it would be someplace warm year round; no snow and cold weather like I deal with now!
-
I was born and raised in NY but I choose to live in TN
-
I would like to live in Nevada, Washington or Wyoming.
-
For a long time I wanted to move to California, but now with the terrible wildfires they are having, I am afraid to move there. I like New York state and Massachusetts, too. Wouldn't mind living in the Boston area.
-
If I had to pick another one it would be the mountainous areas of North Caroline but that is honestly too rough living for me with my mobility issues.
-

I have been there many times and it is a very good choice, especially if you love seafood.
-
Nice warm Arizona....hate Ohio more and more every winter.... :bad: :P :bad:
-
I've heard Utah was nice.

Having lived in accouple of other states and visited a lot of other states, Mexico and Canada. I think I will just tay here in New Mexico , Yeah the weather gets how in the summer, but the winters are mild for the most part with a few days of snow thrown in. But it has no problems like in the Midwest nor on either coast. Yep pretty much where I want to be.
-
I was born in Georgia but also have lived in Alabama, Kansas, and Ohio. After my parents divorced when I was 16 (now 49) my mother and I moved back to Georgia. I loved living in Kansas from 1981 to 1983. I would love to live back there again. Wide Open Spaces. It may have changed since then but I did enjoy it there.
-
I love California, perfect weather year round. Lots of family here.
-
Only State I would live in for now is Ga.
-
im from sc so thats where i will stay..never lived anywhere else
-
Probably South Carolina or Florida.
-
I can't decide. I'll pick another one in about 9 months time! Maybe a little sooner, I'll start thinking about it@

I love the mountains and the sea, not hot and not cold and snowy, so where could I go that gives me my dream come true? We almost moved to Chautauqua Co., NY but they get too much snow. WV mountains the same. Otherwise it is beautiful there.New England is beautiful, too, and the fishing used to be great but again, too much snow and cold. We checked out KY and TN, MD and the Carolinas, and finally, GA. Hubby would love Alaska, not mel, too much cold and snow, and in the summer, too many bugs, especially mosquitoes. There is no perfect state so I guess we'll stay right here in PA where we get some snow (usually not much), but do get the cold. Summers are hot and humid and lots of bugs. Fighting 2 new tree killers--Emerald ash borer and spotted Lantern flies. Losing the battle with the ash trees. That's sad. :(

If New York (where I am originally) from wasn't so expensive, I would have relocated there permanently. However, I have decided to remain in the South. I am torn between Georgia and Tennessee (which I am more leaning toward).
