Title: Jamaican Food
Post by: Mizzkizz7 on October 10, 2019, 06:42:37 pm
Someone recommended I try a jamaican restaurant and it was ok. There is another one I would like to try in my town which might taste better, and I haven't had this in 10 years or more so it did a number on my stomach! :'( :'( :'(

A Jamaican restaurant in our town which closed a long time ago used to have Jamaican meat pies and I absolutely loved them.  I tried getting them at the grocery store but they weren't as good.I wish we would have a good one open here again.

I've never been to a Jamaican restaurant, but I love Jamaican food that other people have cooked and I've eaten. I really enjoy the rice with the coconut and sausage in it! I also like jerk chicken. I've never had the meat pies, but they sound delicious!  :peace:

Ive never had the option to try this type of food. I watch the food network all the time, and the dishes Ive seen on the shows havent appealed to me, not saying I would never try it tho, just havent had the chance :)

I have tried it and liked what I tried, but just like any other type of food, there are some recipes I don't care for.

I have not eaten Jamaican food.  I don't even know if there are any restaurants in the nearby city.  Sioux Falls, SD, is the biggest town/city near me.

I have tried Jamaican food and I love it! I like the Jerk chicken, plantains, and other things that they have. The plantains are healthy to eat, because they are said to be good for everything.

UPDATE: The food that I ate was good at first because I was hungry but after I continued to eat, I lost all interest. Maybe I should try another Jamaican Restaurant soon.

There are two Jamaican restaurants where I live. I do not necessarily like the operating hours (since they are exceptionally late), but the food is definitely on point!
