I went out this morning to put something in the recycle bin. My neighbor across the street yelled over " hi and it's good to see you" I said hi and it was good to see him too. Then we both just looked at one another speechless. I didnt expect ANYONE to be out there and when there was my mind went blank, did I feel like a fool. Have you ever had an unexpected brain fart with someone you see? or is it just me :-X

It happens more than you know! I hate the feeling when you're walking away shaking your head feeling like a big dumbo. lol But it's always fun to laugh at it later :)

I am sure Direct Deposit has a paper trail too, or you could just change to get paid by check and make a copy of each one.

Brain fart?...Every day...
-
I like to blame these brain misfires on a busy mind. The brain an only process so much information. When the brain gets to full, it will not accept any incoming info. That's when a few things get by us.
-
I do that nearly any time I talk to anyone lol. My mind is on other things and does not switch tracks easily. I'm sure I look like a deer in headlights any time anyone approaches me unexpectedly.
-
Ha ha ...yeah, more than I would like, that's for sure...
-
yeah I can remember things in my head and then go to say t5hem only to forget. happens more then a few times. already for got what I was going to say next.
-
Brain farts happen! LOL.
-
I never heard of this term, I love it, we always learn something in FC...
-
I've had my share of "brain farts" where I forget someone's name....it can be embarrassing if it is someone I see regularly and know. If it someone I don't see very often, then I don't feel too bad. I just ask them their name and we chat.
-
i get them all the time when i'm surprised
-
Happens to everyone once in a while.
-
People have these type moments all the time and they can increase somewhat as you age. The only problem is when you have them all the time and they are actually interfering with your everyday function. This is when you need to be concerned!
-
No it is not just you - at 66 I now call them senior moments and I seem to be having W-A-Y more of them than I like. Oh well !
-
Happens to me all the time. I feel like I'm horrible at putting things into words.
-
I call them senior moments, laugh about it and keep moving..
-
I brain fart daily, lol.
