Title: Halloween
Post by: autumnsparklemom on October 29, 2019, 08:57:12 am
I love this time of year. It is suppose to rain in our area for trick or treating. I hope it stops or moves on out before my kids head out for candy. They are anxious about trick or treating.  :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin:  Anyway. Happy Early Halloween.

It's supposed to rain over here as well but I know that won't deter the kids from getting candy.

They are giving 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms in my area.  We don't trick or treat and I don't hand out candy. Never participated in Halloween.  Maybe rain will deter some of the mischief that goes on.

Guess I will stay inside and put up my Christmas tree. haha

And dont forget to read 2nd of Mathew about all the 2 yr olds murdered by King Herod.

Its supposed to rain here in Indiana, too.  I remember it raining when I was a kid, we still loved trick-or-treating.  One year, I set my (paper) bag down, the bottom got wet and the candy spilled out.  Bummer.

We're not having rain here in So Cal, unfortunately, but we are having crazy winds.  I think the trick-or-treaters will still come out, but not many.  But I'm prepared, I've already filled cellophane Halloween bags of candy to give out -- I need to get rid of all the candy. :)

It's raining here right now but should be cleared out by Halloween afternoon.  I have NOT had trick or treaters for years, so I didn't buy any candy.  Maybe I can catch a Roseanne Marathon on youtube.   :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin:       (Roseanne has some great Halloween episodes) :cat: :pumpkin: :cat:

Living in mid-Michigan, Halloween was very rainy, somewhat windy and quite cool this year.  Not a very appetizing Halloween at all.  Of course, I no longer participate as of the last 3 years.  Upon reaching well into my 60s, I decided I had done enough with over 40 years of being available, friendly, and the expenditure on a lot of candy which wasn't being given out the last couple years due to less and less trick or treaters!

We had rain in some area and cold in  some so the church had it inside and it was great.  The kids eat hot dogs and nachos, popcorn and punch than with all over the church and got lots of candy.

It snowed all day where I live.  Not a lot of kids was out for Halloween.  I personally would not take my kid trick or treating.  Too many sick people out there participating.

It was really cold here, so we barely had any trick-or-treaters.
