One of our two elderly cats got out somehow and my son and I don't even know when.....I went out for food last night and went out this morning but my son didn't discover her until later after I got home from my errands today. She is a totally indoor cat but loves to try and get out because she loves this rose bush by the front door. Thank God she is ok is all I can say. She aggravates me but she has been part of our lives at least 18 years and I would be devastated if we would have found her under bad circumstances.

That darn cat! We have one that gets scared of unknown things when she goes outside.
And she expects to get fed right away when she comes in, like she's coming home from a hard day at work. :dontknow:
:fish:

Oh, thank goodness you found your cat. I would be beyond devastated if my cat got out! And, yes, I would be so, so happy when he was found like your cat was. Makes you appreciate them all the more! Having a fur baby is a bittersweet thing. Mostly they just make you happy, but you are vulnerable if they run away or die! :peace:

Yes I'm happy for you; your cat is safe and sound! :rainbow:

I'm happy for you that you found your cat and that she is no worse for the wear. 18 years is remarkable for a cat!

I’m so happy you found your cat. I have several cats, all strictly indoor, and I would be panic stricken if one got out.

I had a cat that was 18 one time. That is very old for a cat. He was special

18 years is a long time. Glad she's ok.

Pets have a way of becoming a real part of the family, so glad you found your cat safe.

My daughter had an indoor cat that she had for years. She had a chip implanted in it. It got out one day. It was gone for 3-4 years when one day she got a call from a vet saying they found her cat. By that time, she had already gotten two dogs and a son. She put the cat up for adoption.
