Does anyone still burn music off their computer onto a CD? I still do it. I know technology has changed and there are so many ways to get music now.
-
No, I don't burn them down but I do stream music all day through jango. I have heard some songs from favorite artists on that site that I don't remember hearing before. If I had, it sure had been a long time that I didn't remember them.

Good old days, No I don't do this anymore I just plug it onto my phone and that's that Lol I still have a ton of blank disk though.
-
No. I don't burn cds any longer off anything.
I'm old enough to remember holding a cassette player up to the TV to record... Good Times, not. The youth of today don't know how lucky & easy they have it with streaming -- but I guess that pretty much could be said of the youth of most generations. :)

Heck....I had 8 tracks back in the 60's when I was a kid.... :silly:

:santa: :snowflake:
CD's are nice to have when the power goes down, your portable battery operated player still can entertain you and they are customized for your own musical playlists! I also use them in the car for a change from the streaming hassle while I drive!

I used to record music from the internet onto CDs, and given that I was born in 1961, I really thought it was magical, LOL! I only deal with MP3s nowaday, plus I don't listen to music near as much as I used to. I can pretty much just listen to any music I want to hear on YouTube and then I'm done with music for a while. :peace:

I haven't burned a CD in years. I actually never burned many at all, to this day most CDs and DVDs I've burned on my computer have refused to play on any device including the computer I just burned it on ten seconds ago! I mostly stream off youtube and for the few things I want to make sure I can access without wifi, I will download it onto my phone.

I just tell Alexa what I want to listen to.
-
I did this a couple years ago still. I like listening to music in the car. I still listen to CDs I like having the physical thing sometimes.
-
I used to years ago. Now I just listen to spotify.
-
I quit doing that years ago. After another company charged me for music I already had on my computer. So I don't mess with it anymore.
-
I used to do that but have not in awhile, I don't listen to cd's
-
I should do that again. Forgot all about it! :o

I don't listen to music as much as I did before so I don't have a need to download onto CD's
-
No, because I always seem to have great difficulty doing this. Sometimes I will burn one CD onto another, but nothing from the internet. It's usually just audiobooks though because I don't listen to a lot of music anymore. It's probably just easier to have a streaming service like Spotify, or listen to music via Youtube anyways nowadays.

I still have my 8 tracks and the player.

No. I don't have anything to play CDs on anymore.

Isn't this the irony? We said the same thing in the past about vinyl, 8 tracks, cassettes, and now CDs... It makes me wonder what technology is going to replace mp3's, when that will happen, and how will we be converting our existing music libraries over to the new format.
-
No but I have been wanting to. I use to do that a lot in my teen years!
-
I don't but I wouldn't mind doing it if it afforded some advantage that other means to listen to music doesnt have.
-
No, I don't do it anymore and I don't remember the last time I did that. Don't play CD's anymore.
-
I use Handbrake to rip my CDs.
-
Nope. Years and years ago I did. I had hundreds and hundreds of burned cds. Lol.
