For the first time in 11 years, I am moving.
I will be staying within my city and maybe using the same ISP. Will there be any problems with FC? Should I contact support?
What happens if I change my ISP provider? Any problems with FC?

Guess you'll find out.... ???

Oh that is an interesting question. I wish I could help you out. The only move I have made since being a member of Fusion Cash was when I got married and moved from my apartment to, literally, one mile away where my former fiancee', now husband lives. Yes, I married the boy next door. ( Almost ). LOL. I had no problems at all. I don't think it would hurt to contact support as soon as you can. Keep us informed and let us know how it works out. I hope your move is a smooth one.
-
that is a good question... I'd send in a ticket as soon as possible as you know support can be slow to respond... please let us know in case any of us have to move in the future
-
It's best you e-mail support, just to be safe. I read once on here that FC will warn you if you try to log in with a different IP. It'll say something like "If you log in, you might risk your account being banned" or something along those lines. So to be safe, you should send in a support ticket.
-
I agree with others that you should check with support to make sure, but I imagine it would be okay as long as you update your profile information once you complete the move.
-
Thank you all for your replies.
I plan to inform support of my impending move today. I know support has been slow to answer but as least I will have informed them.
-
I've never moved since joining FC but considering how long it's been around, I'm sure many members have. Yes, contact support, even though you may not get an answer. Good luck on your move and hope you enjoy your new crib! 8) :in-love:

My account was restricted about 1 1/2 years ago for two weeks. I was never told what I had done but it came as a real shock. If FC had not lifted the restriction, I would have been finished on this site.

I don't know the answer, but here's my experience -- When I started on FC, I lived in Indiana, after a few years, we moved to Florida and I switched internet service providers -- had no prolems with FC. About a year ago, we moved back to Indiana to a different location and I switched providers again, still no problems. I never set a support ticket I just "took my chances" and it seems to have worked out.
-
I have moved multiple times since starting on FC. I always updated anything I needed to when I did the move and have never had an issue. I never sent a support ticket about it either. I have also used various IP addresses when I've gone on vacations or out of town for a few nights. Never an issue thankfully! I don't think they will ban you for it, because everyone at some point has a different address/ IP address for the most part at some point.
-
I've moved twice since I signed up with FC, once to a different city and once within the same city but different zip code. I've also switched ISPs once. I never contacted FC about it. The only thing I did was update my address in my profile. I haven't had any issues yet. You'll be fine. They can't expect everyone to live in the same place and use the same ISP forever.

People make to big of a deal about this. All you have to do is update your address. Not a big thing. It does not matter if your IP changes. MY ip changes all the time. It has never been a problem. I can see where it says I am located and it shows in about 5-7 different locations. I have also accessed the site while in another state. It did not cause any problems. Not sure why some people have issues unless they try to start a new account. Only certain ones are allowed to have multiple accounts.

This is not true. I have logged in from different computers and it has never been an issue. People use this site from the library or other public places and it will show a different IP. Our library has several different computers so you most likely will not use the same one every day.

I read this information on the FC forum so yes, it does happen. Perhaps it doesn't happen to everyone, only those that are logging in from suspicious IP addresses.
-
I wonder if there is any info in TOS? Hmmmm, maybe I'll go check into that. But honestly, I'm pretty sure if you update your new address, your new bank info if relevant, anything that might affect your payout, I'm sure you'll be fine. How can they possibly keep track of all the different IP addresses, especially for those who use phones?
-
TOS hasn't been updated for almost 5 years but here's the only thing I saw that would apply to moving. "Users must provide valid and truthful information during all stages of membership at FusionCash. This clause applies to every form of interaction with a FusionCash representative, FusionCash's web properties, and FusionCash's affiliated advertisers and partners, including, but not limited to: personal information, location, support tickets, third-party signup information, and cashouts."

It was frozen. I could not do anything. I could not access forum. If FC had not lifted the restriction, I would have been done at FC. My earnings would have been kept by FC and I would no longer be a member.

my account was frozen. When I attempted to log in, there was a giant notification that my account had been restricted while FC investigated. I was never told what they were investigating. The notification continued informing me that if everything was ok, the restriction would be lifted and that there was no need to open a support ticket.
If FC had not lifted the restriction, I would have been more or less banned from the site and FC would have kept my earnings.
I could do nothing on FC including posting in forum.

Persons have been banned from FC for using public computers. They have also lost their earnings. You may have been lucky thus far but when my account was restricted, I did some research and found about 100 postings from former FC members who had been banned. This was 100 over many years and in some situations, it sounded like the member had done something to bring about the banning.
But some of the members innocently logged in from somewhere else without thinking, including public computers, and were banned from then on.
Thus far, you might have been lucky.

I have seen posts from former members who were kicked off of FC because they logged in using wi fi and or a public computer. These members also lost their earnings.

I moved in march of last year. No issues with fc just update your info under my account to the new address; I changed providers from earthlink to comcast as earthlink asnt servcing my town anymore. No issue there but was without internet during the change.
-
to be on the safe i would send a support ticket. let them know you are moving and ask what if anything you need to do so you can continue with FC without interruption. Good luck .
Let us know what happens. :rainbow: :peace:

When I was allowed back on Fusion Cash, I posted about having had my account restricted. It is now a locked topic but it can be read. You would have to search for it by subject which is "My Account Was Restricted"

The TOS actually says:
Users must log in and use FusionCash on their own personal computer and internet connection only. The use of a FusionCash account on a public or shared computer, or public internet connection is grounds for disqualification. You may not access your FusionCash account on the same computer or internet connection as your referrer, referral, or any other FusionCash user. Violation of this term may be considered grounds for disqualification of any and all users involved.
So FC has the right to ban us if we use a computer and network that isn't ours. It's just up to them if/when they want to do it or not. I personally wouldn't risk it. I only use FC on my home network.

you are correct and some former members have posted on the internet that this did happen to them. You also forfeit your earnings.
I do not know why some members get caught and banned while others do not but it is a super shock when you go to log in and instead read a notification in large colored letters that your account has been restricted while FC investigates.

So you could not do anything at all on the site? OR just not access the forums? That is odd. I don't blame you for being upset.

So do like somebody else done and just start a new account. lol No normal people if they are banned from a site just move on. I am glad it got straightened out. I would want to know a reason as to why though. Most of the time I just log in from home. But my IP shows me in different locations. I have no idea why. And I have logged in from another state from the same devices. It is odd some people have issues and some don't.

Then that info should be made available when you sign up. You can not use this site if you use public computers. That makes sense because 10 people can be accessing the site from the same computer and they do not know if it is one person or actually 10. I have never broken any rules. Any time I logged in from some where else it was still my device. So idk.

That is correct. I could do nothing at all including posting in forum. I wanted to post in forum and ask other members what to do and if this had ever happened to them but could not.
But to rub salt in my wounds, I could get notices from Fusion Cash that I had received $3 from posting in forum as well as notices that someone had responded to a discussion that I had begun. Yet, I could not respond back and if FC had not lifted the restriction, I would have had to forfeit all my earnings including the $3 that I got from posting in forum.

I have used the library before but brought my own laptop. This was about 5 years ago when I was staying with my daughter in Colorado. To be honest, I don't even know if I updated my address then, because it was temporary and I always got my cash out payment into Paypal.
-
I am assuming that when you move to a new location you will update your address on the site, send FC admin a note that you have changed location...
-
bostonphil - That would not have been good. But I think that happens to people quite often. People get banned or kicked off sites for something stupid then can't get an answer. Nothing you can do. Cause like you said, it is worded in to their TOS. I need to go back and read that. I would like to see where it says you are never allowed to access the site from any where but where it deems your home to be. OR that you can never get a new computer. Several have said they have accessed the site on their cell phone and also on their laptop. This will show 2 different IP addresses.

Some members never seem to have a problem accessing FC from different locations or computers or mobiles and others get caught and kicked off. But one day, some of those members who have been getting away with breaking the rules might get caught and they will be shocked when their account is restricted and they have to forfeit earnings.
That is why I advise members not to sit on their earnings. Cash out.

Saying "get caught and kicked off" implies the member is doing something wrong. No one is breaking any rules if they are just logging in to their account. I was going to see if I can find the info you are talking about. Several have said the log in from their phone part of the time and from a lap top part of the time. That is not breaking a rule. Not as long as you are just logging in to ONE account.
I don't "sit" on my earnings on any site. I know people have posted the wait til the last day of the 180 days to cash out. Then cry when they lose some of the earnings. I cash out every month. Or on other sites I cash out when I have met the threshold.
There are members with multiple accounts and they have even admitted to it. Those accounts are not deleted. SO I do not get how someone would be banned for logging in from more than one physical location.
