Title: Washington D.C. is a Game!!!
Post by: killers2 on January 28, 2020, 04:03:43 pm: I feel like the more I age the more I see through the Washington phonies. They don't care about the everyday person. The Democrats and Republicans in the Senate and The House just care about getting themselves rich first and foremost. The people are an afterthought. They like to make us believe the other party is bad but the corruption on both sides is the problem in my opinion.

It is a mess...and so frustrating for us everyday "normal" people.....

Actually quite surprised that the blame game was not brought in with people saying it is all one party's fault. It is every politician's fault and the citizens are the ones paying for it. Childish, disgraceful and self serving behavior is killing American credibility and ultimately hurting each and everyone of us in one way or another. It is hard for many people to have a civil conversation without politics coming up as a subject and the interaction becoming heated. Some of the arguments I have witnessed are completely unfounded with absolutely no basis of factual representation. When facts are provided, they get discounted. I do not recall it ever being this bad.

Post by: claudegrizzle on February 22, 2020, 08:11:18 pm: I totally agree! Most are in it for what they get out of it. Too many are corrupt and they don't care how they waste our hard earned tax payer dollars. So many problems and none of the issues are getting solved.
