I go through spells where I listen to the good ol' country and then I'll switch over to the old rock'n'roll.  I do not like the "new" stuff that is out (actually since early 90's).

I love Gospel, Country and the 80's Music. The 80's had the best music of all time. I still listen to the 80's on Sirius XM. I love some of the 70's music too.

My favorite music is by oldies but goodies like Billy Joel, Elton John and Carole King. I could listen to the "Piano Man" all day and not get sick of it or "I Feel Like a Natural Woman".

Because I missed watching Mad Men on AMC when it originally debuted, but started viewing for the first time in 2019, I am loving the music selected for each episode.  I am definitely a fan of oldies from the 50s, 60s, 70s (especially the instrumentals), but Mad Men has reminded me of several musical moments of the 1960s like the use of Kyu Sakamoto's "Sukiyaki," (a song about a lost 'love'), which was first released in Japan in 1961, becoming a hit in several countries.  The song reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts in the United States in 1963 -- one of a few non-English songs to achieve this -- and the only one in a non-European language.  Amazing.
