Greetings to all!
Most of the money I make on this site is from Tap surveys. However, lately I've been trying a few FC surveys, with widely mixed results.
I qualify for a survey only once in a while. More often than not all I get is a DQ bonus penny. Okay, I can live with that.
However, here's my frustration: sometimes when I don't qualify I get a message saying "answer a few questions to find a new survey," so I do, and after about five tries it comes back with another survey that I still don't qualify for, and in the end I get nothing -- not even a DQ penny!
I find that very irritating. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it common with FC surveys? I'm still relatively new here so I'm still trying to figure things out. I love the Tap surveys but the other ones give me headaches due to the runaround they put me through.
I'm simply wondering how many others experience this. Any thoughts?
Jesse

You've entered a survey loop. Only certain survey sites do this. Best just to X out of them because they will send you to endless survey profile questions and not credit you anything. :turkey:
-
All part of the program, got to just keep moving on to the next one.
-
I have learned just to X out if I get "you didn't qualify for this one, we'll find you a new one". That is never good and I never qualify for the next one, either. HATE the dreaded loop!
-
I will usually just exit out of that survey and start on another one. Seems like you have to answer a lot of questions and then are told you don't qualify. I think they get the answers they are looking for and then dismiss you without having to pay you.
-
I think we have all entered the loop... thankfully there are only a few that do that... only thing to do is close it and move on

Lots, if not most, of us have got caught up in the survey loop, as another member calls it.
As other members have posted, if I do not qualify for the first survey, I just get out of the loop and try a completely different survey.
Also keep note of the companies that get you into the loop and try to avoid those survey sites to begin with. There are sites that play this game over and over again.
-
I've been caught in that trap as well. Eventually I figured it out.

It is part of the survey game. This is not a job. You will not earn a full time living doing surveys online. No matter what some "make money at home" sites try to tell you.
-
Thank you all for the advice. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
PS I do have reasonable expectations from FC overall. I don't expect this to be a full time job. I do enjoy the site for what it is and I'm happy to take what I can get from it.
Thanks again for all the replies, and best wishes to all!

I really hadn't analyzed the "survey loop" in quite this way before. I've definitely noticed when I keep getting sent to one survey after another with lots of qualifying questions in between and no stopping place for a DQ reward. Now that I've attached a label to this phenomen, I'll be more aware of getting out of the loop and moving on!

I have had this happen a few times. It's quite common with some of the survey platforms. Whenever I feel like I am being juggled around I just 'x' out and try another survey.
This saves me time and frustration. There will be other surveys available which probably won't put you through the ringer like that.
-
When you don't qualify and you don't get redirected to the Tap DQ page, just close the window. It's not worth trying for another survey because you'll almost never qualify. Just go back to the TAP page on FC and try another TAP survey.

I like bostonphil's advice -- I am going to keep better track of the survey companies that seem to put me in the "loop" and just avoid them!
-
Love the x on the survey. Avoid the loop at all costs!

Try samplicious and saysoforgood after you have earned your 5 cents.

Getting rerouted is very frustating

You are probably right. I hate that that happens. All part of this forum game.

Like everyone said, just exit out before you get caught in the loop.

I am experiencing survey loop scenarios on Tap now. Not all, but some survey loops.
