Title: Saying that amuses me but......

This saying I heard recently amused me but I'm not sure it is accurate.  "No one can drive you crazy unless you give them the keys".  Well LOL if this is true in my 66 years I have given quite a few people the keys to drive me crazy.

I think everyone has "given the keys" to someone else sometime in their lifetime.  Knowing that you don't have to let them have the keys or that you have the ability/power to "take the keys" back is powerful though.

I don't see how that can be untrue. If someone drives you crazy, you are in part responsible for it or is personal responsibility not a thing.

I agree! Things would get under my skin in the past, but I've learned how to keep my keys and simply brush things off. Lol!
