I'm reposting this from last year and adding a great article about our consumer involvement in the search for alien life/outer space beings etc. very nicely done!
Astronomers no longer need your personal computers to search for alien life!
A research project that lets the public participate in the search for intelligent alien life is coming to an end after 21 years. That's because the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence at Home (SETI@home) project has collected a massive amount of data over the last two decades — and now it's time to get to work analyzing it. Founded in May 1999 by researchers at UC Berkeley, the project used radio telescopes to identify potential radio signals from space. Processing those transmissions required huge amounts of computing power, so millions of volunteers downloaded the SETI@home software on their personal computers, each taking on small chunks of data, working together like a supercomputer.

The millions of people who, over the past two decades, donated their home computers' processing power to the SETI@home search for extraterrestrial intelligence no longer need concern themselves with such matters. The project, which launched in 1999 with the goal of using the world's idle computing power to analyze scientific data and maybe find signs of alien life, will officially stop sending out work requests on March 31.

Scientists are looking for narrow-bandwidth radio signals from space that are not known to exist in nature.

India used an indigenously developed ballistic missile interceptor to destroy one of its own satellites at a height of 300 km (186 miles), in a test aimed at boosting its defenses in space. India's top defense scientist said the debris would burn up in 45 days.
In 2007, China destroyed a satellite in a polar orbit, creating the largest orbital debris cloud in history, with more than 3,000 objects, according to the Secure World Foundation. Since the impact altitude exceeded 800 km (500 miles), many of the resulting scraps stayed in orbit.
"We will continue to closely monitor the remaining debris from India's ASAT test to ensure the safety of assets on-orbit and human spaceflight activities such as the International Space Station," said Garrett Marquis, a National Security Council spokesman.
Marquis said the United States remained committed to working with all nations to "mitigate the operational effects of orbital debris."
"As part of our strategic partnership, the United States will continue close engagements with India on shared interests in space," he added, listing areas that included "safety and security" as well as human space exploration.

A recently revealed, formerly secret U.S. government program that studied unexplained aerial phenomena—more colloquially referred to as UFOs—came as a surprise to many when stories describing it appeared almost simultaneously in the New York Times and Politico.
The Pentagon’s project, called the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program, was reportedly established in 2007 to investigate unexplained aerial phenomena that appeared to be using novel propulsive, hovering, or otherwise advanced technologies. A 490-page report detailing the program’s findings supposedly exists, though it has not yet been released.
Some may think that the very existence of this project supports the idea that aliens are visiting us, but that’s not a logical conclusion. The undeniable truth is that observations of a puzzling nature certainly merit investigation, as long as it’s done scientifically. And this project is not even close to the first U.S. government-funded search for evidence of advanced intelligence—so far, to little effect.
Projects that began more than five decades ago and still continue to this day include efforts to evaluate bizarre sightings and exotic objects, scan the skies for signs of intelligent transmissions, and develop instruments capable of sniffing out signs of life on faraway worlds.
The fact that the government chose to spend some cash on a supposedly scientific look at UFOs—particularly as they could be crucially related to national security threats—really should be no surprise, says Seth Shostak, one of the SETI Institute’s senior alien hunters.

There are enough creatures on this planet to worry about than trying to find more on other planets or in other galaxies.
I know exactly what u mean and i know you arent just refering to the animal kingdom.
Many ways sad,but from Gods perspective it will be short lived.

I don't doubt there is "life" on other planets- mold, bacteria, some sort of fungi that would be considered "Life." Intelligent Life? That's another story.....

A dead Soviet satellite and a discarded Chinese rocket body are speeding toward each other in space and could crash catastrophically on Thursday.

Since the Soviet satellite and Chinese rocket body are both defunct, nobody can move them out of each other's way. If they do collide, an explosion roughly equivalent to detonating 14 metric tons of TNT will send bits of debris rocketing in all directions, according to astronomer Jonathan McDowell..
A collision would probably not pose a danger to anybody on Earth, since the satellites are 991 kilometers (616 miles) above the ground and are set to cross paths above Antarctica's Weddell Sea.

I guess if U consider mold,bacteria and fungi life,but not intelligent,you must be part of that group.

The U.S. Air Force wants $47.9 million to support its Rocket Cargo concept.
Rocket Cargo calls for a 100-ton rocket capable of airdropping cargo virtually anywhere in the world within minutes.
This system would use an existing space rocket, modified to suit the service's needs.
The U.S. Air Force wants Congress to cough up $47.9 million to fund a new transport concept for sending supplies and equipment across the Earth in under one hour—via a quick trip through space.
The Rocket Cargo program is a priority for the service. It's outlined in the Air Force's 462-page budget request for Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. The document, published last week, outlines four new (unclassified) technologies the Air Force wants to invest in during the 2022 fiscal year, including the blandly named Rocket Cargo proposal. It doesn't mention a tentative first flight date.

Gigantic asteroid '2008 GO20' nears Earth, likely to pass on July 25 "This asteroid has visited earth at a much closer distance of 19 lakh km and 29 lakh km in 1935 and 1977 respectively
The last time the near-earth asteroid visited was on June 20, 2008, and it is expected to fly past again on July 25, 2034.

2021 SM3 will zip past the planet on October 15. The asteroid, which was only discovered this year, has an estimated diameter of up to 160 meters, one and one-fifth the size of the Great Pyramid of Giza in Cairo, Egypt. At its closest, the asteroid will come within about 3 million miles of Earth.

According to NASA 's Center for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS) the asteroid 2021 NY1, which could be as wide as 984 feet, will pass our planet within a distance of 93,000 miles. The asteroid, up to three times the size of Lady Liberty, will be traveling at a speed of around six miles per second as it passes our planet.

On Nov. 24, the SpaceX rocket will launch from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, beginning a Double Asteroid Redirection Test Mission. This rocket will carry the DART spacecraft, which plans to crash into a small 525-foot diameter asteroid named Dimorphos in September of 2022.

Just a reminder,before God created mankind the spiritual realm already existed.There is a scripture in Book of Job that the angels applauded when Jehovah created the earth.
It also reminds us that Jesus was created first as Gods begotten son and everything else was created by the 2 of them....Jesus being his fathers master worker.

I use that analogy with the bible,the TRUE God and his people.

A satellite caused commotion among locals as it fell from the sky and landed in a Chinese village. The startled residents were woken after the scattered debris littered around their homes. Soldiers quickly arrived to secure the wreckage. Miraculously, no homes were damaged by the satellite and there were no reported injuries.
( There have been multiple instances of Chinese satellites or rocket debris crashing back to Earth. In March 2023, the remnants of a Chinese rocket that delivered a trio of military spy satellites in June 2022 disintegrated over Texas. In May 2021, the 23-ton core stage of a Long March 5B booster crashed back to Earth uncontrolled. In July 2021, the 25-ton core stage of a Long March 5B rocket reentered Earth's atmosphere over the Indian Ocean. In September 2019, the Chinese military satellite Yunhai 1-02 collided with something in orbit and broke up.)

I firmly believe there are Alien life out here, and life on other planets.
I'm not a firm believer, but definitely beginning to sway since I've heard so many pilots spotting so many unusual events.

The spirit realm is life.Spirits were created before flesh and blood was.

I have no doubt there is LIFE out there. Just like on Star Trek 😁. I also believe that our government in our planet are aware of it they just don't want to tell us. Earth cannot be the only Planet in the vast universe with Life as we know it.

Two rocket boosters used in a Chinese satellite launch on Dec. 25, 2023 fell back to Earth and exploded near inhabited areas, chilling videos show.
Rocket debris from China's recent satellite launch fell to ground near inhabited areas, where bystanders caught the fiery touchdown on tape.
The China National Space Administration launched two satellites into orbit on Dec. 25, 2023 at 10:26 p.m. EST (0326 GMT Dec. 26 or 11:26 a.m. local time in China) from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province. The Long March 3B rocket carried two satellites for China’s Beidou Navigation Satellite System, which is roughly equivalent to the GPS system used in North America.
While the satellites were successfully delivered into medium Earth orbit (MEO), side boosters of the Long March 3B multistage launch vehicle fell back to Earth and landed in South China's Guangxi region, SpaceNews.com+

This is not the first time rocket boosters associated with Beidou satellite launches have reported to fall near inhabited areas. In 2019, a booster — which provides the necessary thrust for lift-off and then separates from the main stage — fell back to Earth after launch and destroyed a home, according to reports.
China has also been criticized many times for allowing the massive Long March 5 rocket to fall back to Earth naturally, causing space debris, following launches of the heavy-launch system.

The bible does tell us heaven exists and angels,God and his son exist.They are not flesh and blood they are spirits.
Jesus was the firstborn of all creation.Thats why he is referred to as Jehovahs begotten son.Directly created by God.Jesus was also Gods masterworker helping him create everything else.
When on earth Jesus said before Abraham i already was.Of course he was if he was firstborn of all creation.
So yes life does exist elsewhere in the spiritual realm.NOT anywheres else.Im sure God woulda mentioned if it did like on Venus or something like that.
Jesus came to earth as a man to represent his father and ransom his life for the sin A&E committed.Thats why book of Revelation says 144000 will rule with Jesus in Gods kingdom in heaven from the earth cos the rebellion in Eden started here.
Psalms 37:29 says the righteous will inherit the earth forever after God gets rid of the satanic/manmade ruled government on it that has failed miserably for 1000s of yrs.
