The pandemic is making people really depressed, families dying, fear of the unknown, being confined inside our homes. How are you dealing with this?

My family and I are dealing with this by keeping on keeping on. Our routine has changed a little as my husband and I are working from home and my sons are finishing out their college year with distance learning from home. We are feeling terrible for the sick and dying, but we still hope for the best and hope that we are not health affected by this virus. Of course, we stay home as much as possible, other than getting groceries. :peace: :heart:

I stay home and wash up a lot, avoid others when I go for a walk and depend on my family to bring me what I need.

Our family is healthy which is a great start. Little adjustments but also positivity abounds. I have been putting a large flagstone patio in our front yard. My wife and I are both blessed with working from home (I get to do two jobs from home). Current administration has suggested a reduction in wages with the fourth tier of relief but both of our companies will do nothing of the sort and would do the opposite of what administration wants if they could. We have had virtual happy hours and cocktails with our immediate neighbors while keeping safe social distances from all others. My daughter will be joining us in a week to work from home and my son is flourishing while studying remotely up at school. We have been cooking new recipes every night. I feel bad for the single people and could see where depression could sink in for them during isolation.

I go somewhere everyday. Usually a drive in the country or a walk at the State Park. As soon as it warms up, my garden will save me.

I am making a real effort to walk at least 2 miles every day. I find that that wards off depression more than anything else I can do.

You are not confined INSIDE your home. You are allowed to go outside. You can even go to the store if you need to. We aren't going anywhere now but by next weekend we will need to go to the store.

I am staying in and have not seen my grand children in weeks. My husband goes to the store for us and we are washing hands a lot

You are fortunate, I am lucky to take (2) 15 minute walks on the sidewalk in front of my house each day, but it is getting easier as my recovery progresses.

You are definitely correct. Walking helps tremendously with depression. I have really bad allergies in the spring so I try to wait until the pollen count goes down some. I do get to go outside on my balcony though.

we've changed some..we are at home a little more than usual..but we havent really changed too much from what we were already doing..we were alreaady at home most of the time anyway..

It's difficult - I feel depressed at times. It's not that I don't go out, it's just the whole package of people suffering. I try to remember that God is in charge!
