I have finally taken time to work in my yard and get some vegetables planted. I made some masks for family members and worked on a quilt I started. YAY ME!!!!!!
-
Oh, I'm so glad for you that you've getting or have gotten those projects done! I am also wanting to plant some vegetables in a garden, so I'm looking into raised garden planter. The arthritis in my knees and hips make it extremely difficult to plant straight into the ground. Plus, we live in Georgia near Stone Mountain, so we really don't have soil as much as we have red clay, LOL! I also would like to learn to quilt, so I might look into that during this time. It feels good to be busy on things that give back to you! :peace:

I also got a few plants in the ground. I am always watching kids. My daughter fenced the back yard. I spent a couple days chasing the escape artist. Got tired of waiting on some one else to fix the part he was getting out of. Friend and I fixed it ourselves, mostly she did. So the next smart thing I am doing is teaching that same kid to ride a bike. What am I thinking?

I am making good progress on my goal of reaching 10,000 posts on this Forum. No special reward for it, but I think it's cool to do anything that has not been done before.
Am I just crazy? ???

Why yes, yes you are sir. And I can say that because I have know you (thanks to the internet) for many, many years and I know you can take a joke! I am very happy to see you are still around, helping others just like you have been since day one!

It is good to know that you all are surviving as best you can. I pray that you all will continue thrive and get things done so at the end of all this we will all be a little better by accomplishing and learning new things.

I have thought about making some masks. I have one somebody gave me and a bandana that is made to wear as a face covering. Don't plan to wear either unless something is mandated you have to wear them to enter a certain store. And I have no choice but to enter the store. smh I saw where costco says if you enter their store you have to wear one. I don't shop there so I don't care. I have heard from employees at Walmart they expect it to happen there.
Not really doing anything else different. I already keep my house clean and we always plant a small garden.

It's inspiring to hear some of the projects others are doing. I am thinking of renovating my son's playroom.

Absolutely nothing. :(

Not as much as I should. I'm watching a lot of Green Acres. I'm smiling because my honey do list is getting completed by my husband because he's off work until the governor or commander give them the ok to return.

Today, I had planned to plant some flowers in my back yard, but I got busy doing something else. I will do the planting on the next almost warm day.
-
I've organized all my closets and the garage. Now I've been doing yard work, and it seems like it's never ending! :(
-
I did a lot of early cleaning that I usually do later in the year. I am glad it is all done for now. :)

I started spring cleaning earlier this year too but not done as I am still working from too. But at least some of it is done. Did a lot outside yesterday since it was nice but have not planted yet as we are suppose to have frost this Friday. Going to wait until Mother's day to do the planting

We got our garden in and are already getting squash (yellow and zucchini) from it. Looks like lots of tomatoes and green beans are getting ready to go crazy too. I love the stuff fresh out of our garden. We made air fried zucchini tonight and it was great!

None and I should be using this time to actually write, finish and not continuously ponder about my graphic novel series.

Have taken time to work on the garden and the front yard. Also been outside alot more on my property in years. Nice to be outside just doing stuff around the house
-
I decided to use the significant downtime from work (due to the pandemic) in order to finally repaint my living room and one of my bedrooms. They were long overdue for a re-paint.
-
I didn't really get anything done while being stuck at home. I'm a planner not a doer.
-
My husband finished the railings and did the garden, cut down a tree, my daughter fixed the basement for the grand kids, since it looks like we are not doing anything special this summer, so they can have a great place to play, she and my husband with a bit of my help (i am the only one working from home at the time) cleaned and removed turf carpet from the deck, power washed and had someone come and repair/replace rotten wood from deck now my husband is going to paint the deck with a texture paint so the kids can play out there.
We still need to paint the house, which is the next project

Nothing, lol.

Well, LOL, my big project was watching all 36 episodes of Hulu's "The Handmaid's Tale" over Comcast's Watchathon week. At first, I thought that 36 episodes was way too much to watch in a week, but then I decided to watch what I thought would be the first season. In that way, I could decide whether to subscribe to Hulu for a month and complete the rest of it. However, I got so into the story and characters after about the first 3-4 episodes that I completed it all within 4 days! I highly recommend "The Handmaid's Tale!"
