Title: My paid email
Post by: tuffys_daughtr on July 19, 2020, 09:39:52 am
Doggone it! 2 days ago, I forgot to do my 2 cent email!! That makes about the 4th time that has happened in the last year or so. And every time it happens, I make a note to myself "do the email 1st and foremost ALWAYS!!!"   Then yesterday, I completed an FC survey in my email and never got credit for it :( Today I did a good half hour survey on a different site and no credit. I know it happens and there's not a whole lot that can be done about it, but it's just so frustrating. But the email is totally on me and I have to do better!!  :glasses-nerdy:

If you forget the email, you are out 2 cents only and out no time.

But when you complete a survey and do not get credit, you are out time and money. Sometimes you are out a lot of time and sometimes out a little money. Or maybe even a lot of money.

You might get credit for the FC survey that you completed via email another day but you might not. I had mixed results when it came to taking FC surveys that i received an email invite to. Sometimes I got paid but often did not. I no longer get these invites and stick to TAP.

I have completed many surveys on other sites that do not credit or there is a glitch at the very end.

I understand when it comes to non crediting surveys. That has definitely happened to me. I have even been known to forget about a couple of daily e mails myself. However, I just think that it’s only .02 and I can make it up elsewhere. Like you, I try to get the email done before anything else.

But doesn't it make you feel better to come and vent your frustration in the forum!!!  People here have been through it, themselves, and can completely identify with what happened.  I love the feel of support in the forum. It's always helped me!

Yeah, I still do Tap surveys to make sure I get my 5 cents for my PTC, but I've been getting quite a few FC surveys in my email lately, and I believe if they are over a week old, I'm less likely to get my payment for them. It's weird too, because some of them have the same number. I checked my stats and one that I had completed (I went by the number it was given), I got a dq penny for instead of the $.50. So oh well, it is what it is! And yes, at least the daily email is only 2 cents and I can do it another day, so it's not like if you miss one, they cut you off! (Thank goodness!)

Yes, I guess it just irritates me that I forget sometimes! For now I do it first, then move on to other emails, hopefully I keep on that path for at least a little while so I don't miss out on my 2 cents!

Yes most definitely, I mean I already knew that many others don't always get what they are promised for a completed survey, and that's just always going to happen. On another site, I had a completion taken away from my credits for the first time ever! (With that site) It's just frustrating when they don't give an explanation, but I sure don't let it ruin my whole day!

I have done the same thing. I feel really silly because it is just silly to forget. But I am trying to remember to do it right away in the morning. And btw, thanks for the reminder because I just realized that I haven't done it today. lol   :D

I love doing the paid emails, but I think they need to increase from 2 cents to 5 cents...

Yes the increase to .05 would be nice;especially since they cut out the tasks.

Well yeah, mine does too, but I get lots of email in a day's time, because I use that inbox for all my petition sites, survey and PTC sites, etc. So sometimes I get caught up in other emails, and forget to go back and do my FC one. :)

Yeah but the thing is, the daily email is counted as bonus money, not applicable for the 5 cent minimum, so raising it's worth wouldn't help in that area. However, I'd be game for them sending more than 1 paid email a day, but I don't see that happening either.  Yes, it's really a bummer that Appen took away the tasks from here. I even sent them a message telling them how disappointed I was about it. They basically did not respond.

You're most welcome! Haha!! Yep, I feel silly and angry at myself, like "How could you forget to do it"!!! Some days I'm just not with it, and if I wait until later in the day, it's more likely to happen, so I guess I better go get it done now, since I haven't done it yet today!!
