Actor Chadwick Boseman passed away from a 4 year battle with colon cancer. Very talented, handsome, and I feel sad for his family. Prayers :'(
-
That is really sad. I do wish the family the best of luck.
-
RIP...so young
-
I was surprised to see this in the news last night. I had no idea he had cancer.
-
Wow, how sad. I thought he was considerably younger than that but wow that is so young. I had no idea he was ill.
-
Very disturbing & quite sad... was it well known that he had cancer? Seems like this came out of nowhere.
RIP young man.

It amazes me that he never publicly disclosed that he's been battling cancer the past 4 years; looking back and seeing how much he accomplished during that time is incredible especially since he was undergoing multiple surgeries and chemo! It's unfortunate that many people mocked him these past couple of years because of his weight loss without even knowing what he was facing.
I hope he can finally rest in peace. :notworthy: :rose: :star:

I'm still in shock. :( When I read the headline, I had to read it several times to process it. What a wonderful man, and he'll forever be missed.
-
He died so young, my condolency to his family, may he R.I.P......
-
I'm amazed at the struggle he endured but kept tit private away from public consumption. He was definitely taken away too soon.

Hello!
Ya I heard about this so sad. He was just 43 still young. That is why no one should take life for granted mmmmmmm ya. Rest in peace in haven close your blue eyes.

So, young to die from colon cancer. What I don't understand is why, espcially with successful people who forget to get a regular physical medical visit just to check if all the pipes in the body is working! RIP CB!

I definitely agree with everything you said. I did not know that anyone was mocking him. That is a good lesson for those on social media, especially, to keep their mouths shut when they don't know the situation. On a positive, and there is only this one that I know of, there has been many more visits and donations to colon cancer than usual.

I always hate to hear of someone so young dying from cancer or another disease. The silver lining when it is someone famous who dies is that it might make the average person more aware of the warning signs to watch for. But that is hardly consolation to the family members of the one who died.
-
He was actually from my hometown here in Anderson,SC..Never saw any of his movies..They are talking about a statue of him somewhere in town or a plaque for the cancer society..Some man was downtown last night painting something in honor of him..
-
He was private but it has brought awareness about colon cancer and screenings. Colonoscopy checks should start at a younger age. I watched the Black Panther tribute.
-
That is really sad about Chadwick Boseman. He was such a great role model, especially for little kids. They said he visited kids with cancer in the hospital even while he himself was undergoing treatment for cancer. What a special guy he was.
-
So sad and young to die of colon cancer. My mother died of it at age 74. It always seems like an older persons disease. Haven't seen his movies but now may watch them .
-
I was so sadden to hear of his passing. That he would visit young cancer patients in the hospital, even as he battled his own disease shows what a caring and amazing man that he was. May he RIP.
-
Yes, so sad; he was really a gifted and talented actor. Loved him in all of his movies,he can take his rest now.
-
The thing that shocked me more was that he was battling this cancer for four years. That means during Captain America : Civil War, Black Panther, Avengers : End Game and Avengers : Infinity War. And, if you read some comments online, all certain people seem to care about is who is going to replace him as Black Panther. :bad:
-
Prayers for peace and comfort for his family, fans and friends. This one was a shocker - so sad so young. I was just talking to my son about him right before hearing he passed.
-
He was a great actor - loved him in everything he did. We will definitely miss him as the Black Panther - RIP

He had it for 4 years so he was in his 30's when he was diagnosed. They recommend check up for this at 45 with a family history and 50 without to begin. Very sad, he did lots of visits to St Jude and other children's hospital to visit the kids with cancer. R.I.P.

So sad!!! He was a great actor and role model ! Stupid cancer!!

I had not heard of Chadwick Boseman. So many of his friends said hey didn't know he was ill. His pictures have been all over social media. My prayers and condolences goes out to his family.
-
He displayed a quiet dignity, resounding resilience, and immeasurable strength during his greatest battle.
-
It is so sad. RIP
-
How sudden and unexpected for most of us, may his beautiful soul rest in peace :rainbow:

His family knew; they chose to keep it discreet.

I got my first Colonoscopy at 24 years old. They were looking for something else and they found polyps and they said if they would not have found it when they did, I would have died by 28. I have to get checked every 5 years. I have had 7 coloscopy now. Fun times but still better then having colon cancer.

RIP....so young
