The story that I have heard is she talked to the individual hairdresser about the rules and came in on a Monday with few people around. Although there is a requirement for masks, there is no way to get your hair completely washed, colored, permed, or cut without taking a mask off at some point. My hairdresser and I have tried and there is always about 10-15 minutes total when I am without a mask. Luckily, my hairdresser wears a mask, they take temperatures, and everyone is more than 6 feet apart. You don't know how many other precautions were taken where Pelosi went or if the hairdresser encouraged her to take off the mask for a part of the procedure.

The point isn't whether Pelosi wore a mask or not. She shouldn't have been there in the first place. The salon was CLOSED, and she violated Covid restrictions. In San Francisco, indoor salon services aren't allowed, and shampooing is not allowed. She violated both of these rules, and she knows better. She's a hypocrite, because she squawks about Republicans not following the Covid rules, meanwhile she's doing the same damn thing.

The worse part of Pelosi being caught breaking the rules is she now threw the owner and employees under the bus. She can't even apologize for breaking the rules. Excuses all the time. I hope she's gone Nov. 4 along with the rest of the people in Congress who think they're privileged and think they're better than us.

She privately violated the very rules that she trumpets non-stop in public. When she got called on it, she apologized - for "falling for a set-up."

Precautions? Please!!! The only precautions that matter are following the rules in place. NO haircuts indoors; NO washing or blowdrying; NO mask-less hypocrites. She sets a fine example for all of her constituents - yet has the gall to criticize anyone who has an R next to their name for the tiniest manufactured infraction.

If you call for an appointment, the business is responsible for informing you of the hours and rules. Pelosi never forced them to service her. The owner need to inform her hairdressers of the rules because her shop will receive the fines for not complying with the covid rules.

It WAS closed. All of the salons in SF are closed to indoor services. The salon owner was furious. The stylist shouldn't have agreed to it, but who's going to say no to someone with Pelosi's power. Pelosi should never have put anyone in that position.

I want to know how your hair dresser cuts your hair from a distance of 6 feet??? I would not even go in a business that wanted to take my temperature before I entered. That is completely foolish. If the rule of her land is you wear a mask in public then the hag should have had a mask on. NO EXCEPTIONS! Nobody tricked her. She is an idiot and trying to destroy a business. She needs the same punishment given to her that would be given to anybody else living under her dictatorship. She is just mad because she got caught and was outted. There is no way anybody could unseat her in one of the most liberal districts in the entire country. She knows that she is safe - which is why they should impose term limits on Congress.
But then again, sometimes knowing the evil that is in power and authority is better than the unknown evil who is yet to be in power. We all know how irrational and vile Nancy is and can prepare for that. Who knows what the next nut job congressman/woman from the Bay Area will be like?

In the "You Learn Something New Everyday" category - I went searching for Nancy Pelosi's opponent in the 2020 general election and discovered that since 2010 California has followed what is called the "Top Two" primary system. Essentially all of the candidates running for that congressional seat appear on the spring primary ballot and the top two vote getters - regardless of their party affiliation will appear as the two opponents in the November general election. So it is possible (and in that district downright likely) to have two Democrats running against each other on the November general election ballot.
I'm not sure how that system benefits the public, but it does allow for the possibility of a popular or charismatic Democrat to unseat Nancy Pelosi. But like I said before, sometimes it is better to keep the evil that you know in power than to put in an unknown.
FYI - Pelosi won her 2020 primary with 74% of the vote (191,000 votes). Second place took 13% (33,000 votes). There is nothing to suggest that she wouldn't crush this same opponent by the same margin or more in November.

Where's video of others getting treated in that salon? Did everyone comply or was the hairdresser intimidated because it was Pelosi? Clerks and the general public will confront people about wearing a mask. I still say Pelosi could not force that lady to service her. It falls on the hairdresser. We never heard a response from the person that did her hair. I wonder why only the owner is talking. Something to think about.

Uh, what? No, they don't. Retailers have been telling employees NOT to enforce masks because of reports of violent altercations. If an employee can't tell a regular shmoe to put a mask on, do you really think they'll deny service to a powerful politician? The hairdresser didn't call Pelosi up and invite her over for a haircut. I don't know. There are some democrat voters who are waking up. But then again some are still ignorant. They cry about how bad their state is but still vote for the same foolish people who make it a cesspool. So I don't feel sorry for them. You voted for it so live in it!

It's all about politics. Just like some reporter yesterday that President Trump asked to remove his face mask briefly so he could hear him, & the reporter refused. Then in the media, the press made a big deal about it. THEN this morning there is a picture of that reporter all over social media, with him at that very same press event holding his mask in his hand, not social distancing, & speaking to other press like a foot away. It's all BS. & people keep falling for the propaganda.

We need to listen to her because she is the biggest fund raiser for the Democrat party... do you want your campaign financed by the Democrat party? Or do you want the Democrat party to primary you? I recently read an article on George Orwell, who in his book 1984, wrote that those who wanted to control the people would target women & children first, mostly women as they were easy to manipulate with propaganda. Orwell had seen this first hand with the way the Communists in the Soviet Union initially gained control of the population, by targeting the women.

I never like the kind of people that believe do as I say not as I do. We are all equal and should follow the rules just the same. But you know life is not quite like that nor is it fair.

The worse part of Pelosi being caught breaking the rules is she now threw the owner and employees under the bus. She can't even apologize for breaking the rules. Excuses all the time. I hope she's gone Nov. 4 along with the rest of the people in Congress who think they're privileged and think they're better than us.
Just like the Philadelphia mayor who dined in a restaurant in NJ because he won't allow restaurants in his city open. DeBlasio doesn't wear a mask in public unless he's doing a photo op.
Why don't everybody throw Trumps name into the pile with Pelosi. The man has made a thorough mockery of the USA. He lies, then he throw some more lies into the pot. How can anyone respect someone like him who crawls on his belly.

Problem with those "weekly examples" is - all of the stuff that I read or listen to (and, yes I DO read and listen despite your insinuation that I do not) claiming Trump to be a brazen pathological liar is so obviously tainted by media bias. They benefit from making Trump appear to be lying and their fact checking is a total joke in that regard.
So let's take an honest, open-minded look at Donald Trump. Bravado? YES... Exaggeration? YES... Egomaniac? YES...
Proven liar on a regular and ongoing basis (as claimed by everyone who opposes his political position and are still butt-hurt over Hillary's loss four years ago)? I have yet to see it.

Pence and Pelosi sat behind him with a copy of his speech. When it was over, he turned to shake both people’s hands as it is always done. She did not give hers, which was a slap in the face (it doesn’t matter if you love Trump or hate him, he was the president), but the worse was when she stood there in front of the cameras, and ripped his complete speech, page after page. That was when I totally lost all respect for her.

I found the debate entertaining and i snickered when Pelosi ripped the papers.
Politics is really a joke in this country now.I know in the near future Gods kingdom will rule and govern this planet.
I dont vote for mankind,but i obey the laws when they dont compromise Gods,pay my taxes and try to be kind to others and animals.

Surely, the people who are so certain of this "fact that Trump lies and lies" could come up with one or two examples to bolster their case. If not, why not? Did you actually hear the lies you're talking about?
You'd never get away with saying something like that in a court of law. And now you're in the court of your peers, waiting for your brilliant and insightful answer that's free from all media bias and rhetoric. Double shame on you if you're just carrying tales that fit the Democratic narrative. :sad1: Innocent until proven guilty is the rule of law in this country and is also an international human right under the UN's Declaration of Human Rights, Article 11.
Think about your own trial with someone lying about you? What would you do? Tell it to the judge and see how that flies.

But we cannot be bothered, inconvenienced, or tricked into actually telling you those Trump lies. Now will you please stop asking for proof! This is not a court of law. This is the court of rumor, innuendo, and misguided public opinion! The Rules of Evidence do not apply here - only mob mentality rules in this kangaroo court that we call Liberal Legal Thought.

To answer your specific question - I know that Trump makes America greater than Hillary would have or better than Biden or Kamala will, yes.

I just today for the very first time watched the movie 13 Hours which had a very profound effect on me and I may still be in an elevated state of outrage as a result of it which may affect my judgment in saying what I am going to say here - something that I do not apologize for. I then watched an interview that three of the survivors from the Benghazi incident gave regarding the movie, how true to life it really was to the actual events that took place, and the L-I-E-S that Hillary Clinton repeated over and over again about the incident and about the family members of those who heroically lost their lives trying to fix the *bleep*-storm that Hillary and Obama created and then tried to cover up.
I challenge you to WATCH that movie and those interviews (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJD4LCV5jqE) and then come back to me and talk to me about Presidential lies.
If you have no interest in doing that (which I suspect will be the case), then you would be better served to just drop it and move on. If you really PRIDE yourself in speaking the truth, you should not be afraid to hear the truth coming from someone who knows it. (And to be clear, I am not talking about myself as the "someone who knows it". I am talking about the soldiers who were forced to go through hell without any support from their superiors and the bullshit bold faced lies that Hillary spouted to try to cover up her complete and total incompetence and disregard for fallen heroes in effort to avoid her own political suicide). There is a difference between REAL lies (Hillary) and trumped up lies (news media who have an agenda against Trump).
