It has been 19 years....let's never forget
-
Great point. I will listen to a number of memorial podcasts with my son, with the hope of infusing the lessons into his longer term life learning.
-
I hope we never forget. I live about 2 hours away from New York City and after the attack we went to see it. There are no words to describe what we saw, and I can’t even begin to tell you. All the lives lost. 😢😢
-
What a day that was, we shall never forget.
-
How can you forget, it is the most memorable day in out lives. I live within 20 miles of the Pentagon and the gaping hole on the building was a constant remind of that awful, awful day. Let's never forget and make sure that the next generations never forget either.
-
I remember that day well. I was getting ready for work and turned the TV on. I saw the second plane hit the Twin towers. I thought it was one of those disaster movies. Then I realized.....
It was also my mother's birthday.
-
I was watching it on TV while sitting in the break room at work. A very sad and terrible day.
-
Certainly a very sad day.More so cos it hit home in our country.
I live 25 miles north of it <Towers>.
The bloodshed started with Cain killing Abel and has continued to the present.
Is it any wonder Jesus told Pontious Pilate,"My kingdom is NOT from this world".

i can't believe it has been 19 years! it was such a terrible day! :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

It was such an incredibly tragic day. Those who lived through that time will never forget. That's why it's a bit weird when I speak to those born after those events and it's just history to them.
-
I remember everything about that day and the days that followed. Our world is so crazy now that something like this would not even phase anybody.
-
I remember 9/11 and is something I will never forget.
-
Having been alive and working when it happened it is one of those things you will always remember where you were. Unfortunately it is not the same for those that were not born yet - it is just something that read about in history or watch a special on tv.
-
I know that I will never forget. It was the most horrific Day in America.
-
I remember that day very well. I was at work and a co-worker called and told us to cut on the TV. We sat and watched the 2nd plane hit the tower and then watched the building fall down piece by piece.

I remember the day very clearly. I will never forget. A few years after 9/11 my grandfather passed away on the same day.

It was indeed a very scary day I watched it as it was happening too
