Which do you like better?
-
I m not into classic movies. I don't think I have ever what an entire classic movie. I enjoy movies from the 80's, and 90's. I also like to collect them.

I love classic movies but there are some new movies that are really good.
-
I watch both, but I prefer the old classics (pre-1970). I don't like all the swearing, sex, and violence in modern movies.

I guess it depends on far back we're going but definitely classic movies because there is more focus on the story and how its told versus movies today that are honestly just all style with a failed attempt at substance.

i tend to lean toward the classics. i like some of the newer ones too. but i did watch more movies when i was youger than i do now. :pumpkin: :peace:

It's the classics for me. Occasionally, I will enjoy a newer movie, but they are just not the same.

I generally like the older movies better. I have been watching more movies since CoVid reared it's ugly head. I watched, and thoroughly enjoyed, "Catch me if you can" with Leonardo Di Caprio and a cast that included quite a few stars. I got home late, last night and caught the last thirty minutes of Django (I had seen it before) with my wife and son. We started watching Inglourious Basterds (movie spelling-not mine) and I thought it was good but needed to get to bed by twelve thirty because I had a five AM meeting this morning. I want to watch Borat 2, my kids said it was really funny and shocking. I am even more interested after the White House/Giuliani have given it so much free advertising. I also want to rewatch some old Bogart movies.

I love classic movies, and I love watching them on the TCM station....

I would say classics although my actual favorites tend to be from the 80s-90s, I'm not sure whether that counts as classics though.
