I use a free website for advertising and every week he gives out prizes and referral commissions in Bitcoin that I buy gift cards with from a gift card reseller.

I use Bitrefill.com, but there are a lot of places online to buy them with Crypto. The big trick is finding ways to build your balance without spending untold hours mining or investing to make a few Satoshi's a week. I bought about $400 in Gift Cards for Christmas this year with my Crypto and still have that much left to build on for next year.

Nothing shady about it and the money I lost was with PayPal, that said I should not be trading Bitcoin for USD. Nothing shady about that either, in fact they are doing it themselves now.

All I know is it is on the news every few days where "bitcoin" accounts are being seized. Something is not right about it.

I'm more interested in using gift cards to buy Bitcoin and then holding on to it while the value skyrockets.

I gave my wife about $10 in Bitcoin for Christmas a few years ago and told her to just hold onto it for a bit. Today she still has it and it is worth just under $100. Tenfold increase in value over just two years isn't a bad investment.

I kinda wish I had made it $1000, but I would've needed her permission to go that high. She is still a bit wary of the whole crypto scene with its volatility. Financial hindsight is 20/20, but there is still something to say for marital harmony in the interim! That whole "better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission" theory doesn't work very well when money is concerned.

If I could get a Bitcoin for $500 I would literally take out a loan and buy as many of them that I could get qualified for in my loan application.

Do a Google search for Oldbuddy and he will show you how to make it simple.
