I've read posts mentioning Kohler, about how well he used to run things at FC.
So, how was things back when Kohler ran things?
What was different? How much money could be made per month back then?
-
I do not know if Kohler ran FC but it was when the site was much better than it is now.
Support tickets were answered. There were many many ways to earn. There were contests. Kohler or the administrator read the posts on the forum and often responded. FC was a lot of fun and productive.
It was a different site than it is today. It ran better and was far more professional.
I do not know when Kohler left. He never said goodby. There was never a replacement. And I also do not know if that is when FC began to go downhill. Kohler left some years back and FC began to have some problems a few years back. I do not know if this is related or just a coincidence.

I would say they were related although to your point there was no official hand off. I think Kohler sold the site to someone when he decided to pack it in.

I was not part of the FC Team when Kohler ran things. I wish that I would have been.

I am not certain that Kohler ever owned the site. As far as I know, they site is owned and has been owned by Tyler Denham. The last name may not be correct but it is close.

It was a completely different site back then, one of the best. Lots of fun and productive.

Yeah, it was completely different back then. Even I could make cash out every month and forum posts were paid on time they reached the 65 days. One of my favorites was the Business Transcription Addresses. That paid well. When Kohler left, things went downhill. I had heard there was a new owner and I gave 'him" to get up to speed and did defend him for a few months but things got steadily worse. This was my first "go-to" but not anymore.
In my opinion, I believe every survey site has gone downhill. They don't seem honest anymore. They rip you off quite a bit. There's another site that I used to cash out every month but now it takes 2 or more months. Hubby says I'm nuts for doing these sites because it's frustrating but this is how I buy my ink cartridges and stuff from Amazon and eBay.

I am on many sites and have been for many years. I agree with you. They have all changed and for the worse. All of them have made it more difficult to earn. They all pay less.
Maybe after COVID, there will be more sites coming on line. More competition sometimes means better money.
I am a retired senior citizen and I still earn enough on these sites for needed basics and a few extras.

RadioLoyalty was one of my favorites of the past. I kept it going, and earned a lot of extra cents with it. I also liked the games. It seems like we had a different game each month, and you made, I believe, $.50 if you reached a certain score, (you could only earn it once a monthh). I would try and try to get the reward. Occasionally, I succeeded. And the videos! We had some fantastic videos -- especially around Superbowl times. The Gorilla glue videos were some of the best! We used to have a search feature, too! And coupons and tasks! And the Kohler quizzes were fun, too! Ahhhh, the good old days!

Covid has probably taken its toll on advertisers which might explain why so many survey sites are giving out much less as incentives. If you get the FC email invite surveys to turn on for you do them if there 15-20 minutes even if there just 50 cents each I've gotten a few gems in those lately that have gotten me 25,25,20 & 30 dollar offers after completing the 50 cent surveys. All but one of them credited to my account that was a tango offer. As for the site who ever owns this now or still owns it probably doesn't care or know how to really run the site. When I first joined I made a lot off this site. It was once in a blue moon 30 dollars in one day that was when things were good and more updated. I miss the paid to call, I miss the scribing, I miss all the half centers & all the offers that were not surveys. They were never cheap skimpy and at that point in time you could find no other website that gave our more. Hell I used to get over 30 dollars a month in videos alone. Boy oh boy times have changed

IMO, it was WAY more fun when I first started doing FC, but I appear to be hooked now.
I can still remember some of the fun things we could do back then. :highfive:

Some of the newbies are still posting under defunct contests. They didn't bother to look at dates of posts and so, they're very frustrated. They think the contests are still ongoing. Someone should LOCK those contests since they haven't been available since Kohler left.

This is 100% true, but the decline to FC happened long before COVID hit. It has gotten considerably worse since COVID, but sad to say, it was already heading in that direction.

I think it began to go downhill about three years ago but it was not very obvious that it was on the decline back then and I think it did have to do with Kohler leaving.
Most obvious COVID has not helped.
I wish FC the best and hope one day, we will see some semblance of the FC some of us once knew.
