I usually do.

I rarely do. I dislike the craziness that goes with it. I don't like to push and shove along with the customers just to get into the store when the door opens. ::)

I do, my birthday was on that day last year

i do! love shopping

I do not. I worked retail for 20+ years and saw the insanity for years. It is simply not worth the risk of getting trampled for one of three televisions or laptop computers, etc. that are generic knock-offs from china to save an extra five or ten dollars. If you watch the sales or use the internet and discounting programs, you can get nearly the same deal. My life is worth more than 10.00 and I am not willing to fight the traffic and waiting in line for 3 hours to buy 100.00 dollars worth of merchandise

I don't. It's funny how many people go absolutely crazy over a product. I too worked retail a few years back and laughed at the materialistic people running down the main aisle to the electronics booth and toy aisles. It's very pathetic in my opinion.

I worked on that day sometime back and it was ridiculous. One of my jobs for about 3 hours was just to create space for the line to continue and to keep people in line and not turn into a group waiting for the registers. Also I had to return products back to the shelf and fold clothes. It was the worst thing ever. I would literally finish folding stuff turn around, and it was just destroyed. People were upstairs in the electronics tossing down dvds and lighter electronics to their family members downstairs because the elevator was so packed it wasn't even on and people were just standing on it waiting to get up. And the little elevator? Ridiculous, like 20 people were trying to shove inside at once. I was going to return something two electronics, I got two steps and someone asked if they could have it so I gave it to them. And yeah. The trampling is just like, ridiculous I can't believe people act that way. I don't even like people who push in an aisle during normal shopping. But yeah, every year you hear about some people getting trampled and having to go to the hospital, that is like the stupidest thing in the entire world. I definitely would not tolerate someone pushing me and I am a big girl so I am a big hard to move and if someone were to shove me, there would be violence and a lot of people would be missing out on shopping, and some of their teeth. But really, I can't believe how adults can act. Maybe if it was a free shopping spree and grab all you can, sure but not for stuff you still have to buy anyway. Presents don't mean that much to me and I would rather get something homemade, seriously.

I did one year and the line was so long at Best Buy to check out that I put the 1 thing I was getting back. I didn't want to wait 3-4 hours just to get 1 thing.

:wave:NO !! I rather sleep in!!!!
-
I don't. I can't imagine going out during that time. Especially after last year hearing about that poor guy who got trampled to death.
-
I'd much rather stay home and shop online at sites like Amazon. they have black Friday sales without the crowds!
-
I agree! I'm not so much of a shopper.
-
I'm not a huge shopper to begin with. Add in the several years of working retail [and I've just gone back to it, too!], and you get someone who thoroughly loathes Black Friday. The one year I didn't have to work it [non-retail job], my boyfriend had to physically drag me out of the house and into Target to buy a replacement for our busted microwave!
-
Eeeek! No I have to work in the maddness that day! :- :BangHead: :sad1:
-
Oh yeah!! me and my friends due all the pre black friday sales too.. It sorta gets us ready for the BIG DAY!
-
I might. All this money I'm making here, who knows what I'll be able to buy?
