i have girls and their easier now but i believe boys are going to end up easier to raise!
-
I think it depends on what day you ask me.. lol! I have two boys (one is 14, one is 11) and a 9 year old girl. There are days I'm not sure the 14 year old will make it to 15 and other days I can't believe how kind and thoughtful he is.... ditto for the other two. I don't think it has to do so much with gender as much as it has to do with the termperment of the child. I know, not useful, just what I have found to be true for me.

My Sister has two girls and I always wanted a Boy. I do have a Son and he is much more difficult than my sister's two girls put together.

It depends on personality although generally speaking easier to entertain boys because they aren't into barbies and makeup and all that stuff

boy

I feel like curling up in a ball in a corner somewhere every day because my son is such a handfull lol but when my niece comes over for the day it's like a breath of fresh air because she is so calm and quiet :)

My daughter Isn't quite home from the Hospital yet but I'm hopeful she takes after her dad. If she does I'll have It easy.

There are no if, ands or buts about it...BOYS are easier to raise. Girls are pains in the butts. :BangHead:
I have both a 4yo girl and 6yo boy and he was easier to raise then she is.
-
I would definitly say that boys are easier to raise because girls tend to bring a lot of drama to your life, but I do think that everyone needs at least one girl.
-
It depends on the parents and their personalities and the kids traits as well. Gender is not a factor. :confused1:

my daughter was easier when she was small, my son was always such a whiney momma's boy. But now he's the good one and she's the pain in the butt :bunny:

Yeah, this could be a tough one. But I think girls are easier to raise. I have one of each and as best as I could remember, cause my children are grown now, but my daughter was easier. She learned things a lot faster than her brother.
-
i dont know if either would be easier lol
-
boys duh they cant get preggers lolzzz
-
I have 3 boys and 1 girl - the girl turned out to be a tom-boy so I would have to say the boys are easier. I just had my 1st grand-daughter, and she is only 5wks old so - If I had to raise all over again I would say boy - get that chassidy belt ready! (lol) ;D
-
well, i personally haven't tried EITHER ;p
but for ME,
i can almost guarantee that a boy would be easiest to raise.
i'm not sure i'd know what the hell to DO with a girl :/

boys are much more straight foward

I have a few girl cousins that are almost grown now. They were horrible, and really still are. I always knew I wanted a boy because the girls are so bad. I got lucky with my son. He's pretty calm, stays out of trouble etc. I will have to say boys whine more though.

I've found working with children in a daycare, and in schools (I'm not exactly too old myself so it wasn't too long ago I was a teen) girls are easier up until well really for me I've noticed like 5th or 6th grade, after that it really kinda depends on the personality, well all together it does I just have found girls easier to deal with up til' that point, then they start getting more aware of things parent's would like to protect them from, and the pressure gets put on the girls to look their best, to impress the guys, emotions start raging and puberty starts ::) pretty much they become costly, and you have to worry about things like pregnancy and dating etc.. Heh I know I was tough to deal with especially around 16 when I got my license and thought I was on top of the world and my parent's didn't matter, idk if you don't mind the chance of being peed on while the boy is a baby, and his "tough guy" and wild behavior, I think over all I'd rather have a boy. Though I do want the chance to help a daughter plan a wedding, go to prom etc..
Well that was too long an explanation for a simple quest---I'd like one of each!

My mom has 4 daughters & took in 3 of my cousins. Two are boys & one is a girl.
BELIEVE ME, GIRLS ARE EASIER TO RAISE!!!!! Both of my boy cousins were horrible as teens, were horrible to my mother, stole, lied & both ended up running away & she couldn't take care of them anymore.
I don't know why people say girls are harder just because they can get pregnant. Does anyone realize that a teen girl can't get pregnant without a teen boy? So there are just as many teen fathers out there.
GIRLS ARE DEFINITELY EASIER.

i think a boy would be easier to raise, since i once was a little boy
-
I think they are equally easy to raise. If they are happy and healthy, they are both a blessing to have!

I agree with MorbidRaccoon! A lot depends on the individual child - girl or boy. Even the age of parents makes a difference --
We have 3 girls and 1 boy. They all had their ups and downs along the way to growing up.
