Title: In your opinion, which automaker makes the best mainstream cars and why?

So which car company do u think makes the best cars and why?

GM
Chrysler
Ford
Toyota
Honda
Hyundai
Nissani
Subar
Mitsubishi

Toyota and Honda. I'm saying this because I see a lot of people that are into them. Probably due to good gas mileage and longevity.

I'll give you Honda, they certainly make fuel efficient cars that are comparable to those from the others, but Toyota is almost at bottom of the pack nowadays when it comes to fuel efficiency. If it wasn't for the toyota prius, they wouldn't have any bragging rights at all.

 :) Chrysler and Ford have high quality vehicles reasonably priced. If you cannot afford these ones, try economy cars from other automakers.

The new dodge RAM is a very impressive truck, inside out.

If you like Chryslers a lot, I'll let you know that Dodge trucks (ONLY TRUCKS) won't have a "DODGE" nameplate in the near future. Chrysler is now controlled by FIAT, and FIAT have decided that the name RAM will become the new brand for their trucks.

So now, You would say "I have a RAM 1500" instead of "I have a Dodge Ram"

I know this will upset many Chrysler owners.

We have a Dodge Ram van but I liked Honda much. It is indeed unbeatable for me. We had one last year, we drove it all the way to Canada then to Alaska, boy I was surprised to still used until Spring knowing that it was a 1994 Honda Accord model. If we didn't have to move I wouldn't sell it and still probably driving it.

I think Ford is making some pretty impressive cars and trucks....not at all bias having a 08 F150 and 2010 Mustang GT.  ;)
