My all time favorite Christmas movie is A Wonderful life. I watch it every Christmas and every time it makes me cry. It is truely a classic and touching story that reminds us that we can overcome anything.
-
It is a tie between Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story, but I always watch Christmas Vacation when I put up my Christmas tree.
-
Why hasn't anyone said how the grinch stole christmas? The old animated version that we all grew up with. I know it is not really a movie. But when you are a little kid it sure seems like it. :P
-

I have a couple of faves. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, A Christmas Story, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and
The Santa Clause to name a few.
-
My absolute favorite Christmas movie of all time is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! I just love it when Chevy Chase goes nuts over his membership to the jelly of the month club instead of getting his Christmas bonus lol.
-
Definitely A Christmas Story! We watch it in full at least once each season, and it usually is on in the background on Christmas Eve as TBS runs the 24 hour marathon.
I had never seen the movie until I met my wife eight years ago. It's one of her all time favorite movies. I like Darren McGavin as an actor and never knew he was in the movie until I saw it. Our tree is adorned with the Lamp stringed lights, and several Christmas Story ornaments. :)

omg theeres soo many

but the best would have to b

My favorite movie is Christmas Vacation.
-
The Nightmare Before Christmas! ;D
-
Elf. It questions the non-believers of Santa and the Christmas pessimists. Will Farrell is over the top in his role and I can't see anyone else playing the character.
It shows the true spirit of Christmas, especially when the dad James Caan is transformed from being a cold businessman into a happier person. I think that saves the family and the holiday.
-
Miracle on 34th street is one of my favorites. A real classic.
-
White Christmas and I always look forward to the Charlie Brown Christmas.
-
my favorite christmas movies are the animated ones i grew up watching- how the grinch stole christmas, charlie brown christmas, mickey's christmas carol, rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, frosty the snowman. i loved them as a kid and i love them even more being able to share them with my kids.
p.s. my christmas promise to myself this year is to sit down and give elf an honest chance. i wasn't a fan of will ferrel when that movie came out so i never watched it but i am curious to see it because i have heard some really good things. plus, i like zooey deschanel and her singing voice, and i love the song "baby its cold outside"

That is my son's favorite. He watches it year round.
-
My favorite Christmas movie, is Home Alone.... :)
-
lol I love all the home alones
-
I just finished watching Burl Ives Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. I thought I watched this all the time while growing up but I hardly remembered any part of it. My husband kept telling me the next thing that was going to happen...he DID watch it as a child. I must have been running in and out of the room when I was watching it as a child because I don't remember all the songs or the snow monster, the red-bearded dude or the dog sled he drove. A classic! ;D
-
My favorite Christmas movie is Prancer.... super old corny movie. It's been a family tradition to watch this movie and string popcorn for the past 15 years, and you just can't break tradition!
-
Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights.....It's so bad but I love to watch it each year.
-
omg all those clay-mation movies are the best! rudolph and frosty!! my 2 year old has no interest in them yet tho lol
