I'm not actually sure that I've had one so far.  All of them have been really thoughtful and held some kind of special significance.  I'm very proud of him!

This year we had "agreed" not to get one another anything because we were spending quite a bit on the kids, but he still felt obligated to get me something...not me, didn't buy anything for him. He bought me some cook books by Sandra Lee and some soap. Is that a sign??? In years past he has gone above and beyond, so I guess I'll let it go.

I received two bottles of nail polish for XMas present. Is that pretty or what? Considering that I spent a few hundred dollars for the family gifts for that person. I feel weird about it so I think next year will be easy shopping for this family.

Wow, that's cold.  I'm sorry but if that happens, you have to go out and buy something else.   ???

One time, I was going to fly out from my parents' house and had asked for a ride to the airport.  They didn't feel like taking me, so they wrapped up money so I could park my car at the airport.   ::)
