BrideWars was another awesome movie that I liked. I'm actually glad I signed up for the blockbuster trial and excited to use their service.

Did anyone see the movie UP?  My daughter and I were almost in tears within the first 5 mins. of the dang movie!!!  :crybaby2:  I couldn't believe it!  I got it thinking it would be a good movie for my kids, so we all sat down and watched it together, popcorn and all....the boys were like "Mom, are you serious??"  ROFL

It did get better...but was not was I thought it would be!  :)

I am not into fantasy movies all that much, but thought Avatar (in 3D) was a fantastic movie.  Extremely well done and much, much better than I expected.  Completely lived up to the hype.

Sherlock Holmes was also a very good movie.  Didn't care for all the black magic stuff, but loved how it all came together in the end and Holmes demonstrated how he solved the case.  Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law is a great combo!

I just saw "Blind Side". I thought it was a great movie. Very sad in some places. The fact that it is based on a true story makes it even better.

Saw Blind Side and thought it was a great story, but the actual movie and acting had the feel of a made for TV movie.  Just not something that is worth seeing in the theater aside from the story itself, which was fantastic!

Does anyone here know of "Interview with the Vampire"?  I love this movie I can't get enough of it.  I only like Tom Cruise playing Lestat that is the only Actor to really Get Lestat.  Anne Rice is a Great Writter.  I like to give her a Big Hug for comming up with that Charater.  I really would like to get to chat with others about vampires. I have a Web Site if anyone would like to visit:

yeah, my husband felt the same way. he was like "this movie is kind of a bummer." but once it got past the sad parts he really started to enjoy it... probably more than the kids! :)

We have Netflix which is the best for our movie habit. We just watched Gran Torino (again). Before that, we watched Everybody's Fine with DeNiro and it was great!

i  :heart:LOVE  netflix!!!!

we recently went down to one disc at a time because there is so much available to watch instantly through xbox live that we weren't watching the ones we got in the mail. i love that they have so many tv shows available instantly. we watched the first 5 seasons of the office, the first 5 seasons of weeds, and the season and a half of the riches (very bummed that the riches was cancelled) and i love that they showed the new episodes of spartacus:blood and sand the same day that they aired on starz.
