Congrats on the new baby, that is so exciting! I can remember when I had my first hes now 5 and wow the time sure does fly. Enjoy each and every moment of it.

How exciting for you and your family. Congratulations and remember that all of us will want updates as soon as you are well enough. Hugs and prayers for you and the baby.

Congratulations! My 3rd sibling is being born by C-section on the 13th, in Chile (and I'm in America)...we'll be 27 years apart, further in age than I am from either of my parents! So strange...
-
OMG congrats! The planned labor can make sure you have time to pack and be ready (though are you really ever ready for labor). Hope all goes well and you have a healthy baby!

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the well wished ;D
The doctor decided that becuase both of my parents were under 5'3, my babys daddy being OVER 5'8, and me having stopped growing years ago at 4'11, 40 weeks might be a little too miserable for me. The thing about that is, I'm only getting induced 4 days before my actual due date. Crazy woman(: I am however dilated to a 2 now, not that it means I'm getting anywhere. Keeping my fingers crossed

Congratulations! :binkybaby: :binkybaby: :binkybaby: :binkybaby:
I am also 4' 11" ! I had a C-section but of course that has been 26 years ago. My son's father was only about 5- 9" but my son has grown to be 6'2".

Wow really! 6ft! Maybe my child will have some hope ;) Thanks(:
-
Congrats! I am currently volunteering at a hospital nursery and it's soooo nice to see glowing moms with their adorable babies!
-
Congratulations! I can't wait til I can be a mommy someday. Hope everything works out for the best for you and your new family. :)
-
5'8" is pretty short for a guy, and you said you and you're parents are pretty short too, so what's his height that makes them think your 3rd trimester will be so miserable?
-
Well, I haven't had a sonogram in...forever, since the woman doing the 3d couldn't figure out how to work the machine. But ugh, I dont know? My doctor keeps rushing the delivery, personally, me and my bf think she has a crush on me ;) She's probabley thinking the baby is huge, idk.

CONGRALUTIONand hope you have a happy 2010.

Congrats -
My baby was born at 29 weeks gestation so I have no idea what you are going through, but I hope that you have a great experience.

Congratulations on the new baby. Motherhood will definitely change all things of your life. I know it has for many of my friends. They are quite busy with the baby and planning is no longer an option, it's a must. For one of my friend, her whole attitude is different. We used to work in the same where the morals were really poor. She and I would confide with each other about things at work that were borderline illegal. We talked about things that isn't right and why people would stay there. Well, she had her first baby and became denial of reality. She conformed with work and said nothing. I knew that she didn't want to loose her job because of the new baby, but my gosh. I think she stills works there but I don't even want to know. Looks like desperation to me.

CONGRATULATIOS! What an exciting time for you and your family! Do you know if it's going to be a boy or a girl? (I never knew until the actual birth and it was such a great surprise to discover a baby boy at the time!) Cherish this time in your life. (Being pregnant and giving birth to my son was the single most fantastically awesome thing I've ever done in my entire life!) It's such a life changing experience. Very positive experience even with all of the unknowns associated with being a parent. I wish you and your baby and family the very best. Please keep us posted on how you are doing and details about your baby. Very best regards.

I was lucky enough to find out at 16 weeks that mine was a boy. Thank goodness becuase I believe that boys would be so much easier. I was raised solely by a man, you see. Lol, but regardless of that, I want a boy first so that he can protect his little sister, whenever she may come around. I will most deff keep everyone posted, seems everyone on here is so caring and wishful, I bet you're all amazing ppl(:

I meant to say CONGRATULATIONS! Guess I didn't pay much attention to the spell checker, eh? :BangHead:

CONGRATULATIONS (see, I CAN spell!) on having your first be a baby boy! What fun! Little boys are so busy all the time (once they get mobile) so start training for your marathon after you give birth 'cuz you are going to need to have speed to catch him once he starts crawling and walking! You must post a picture of him when you are ready. I had a little ginger headed boy I named Henry. He was such a joy as a baby and so busy as a toddler and little kid. Teenage years are rough for anyone so cherish those pre-teen times! And, they really do grow so fast! It seems just yesterday my son was born and now he's 21, in the military and learning to make his own way in the world. I think babies are the best thing in the entire world because they just bring out the love in everyone! I can't pass a little baby without stopping to ask about it and coo over it. Being pregnant is great, isn't it? Don't you feel so powerful and strong? I hope you didn't have morning sickness too bad in the beginning. Do you miss being able to see your feet? Ha. Ha. Best of luck. Can't wait for the good news of his birth!
-
Well actually, I haven't had any symptoms or problems though out the pregnancy. But I must say, I'm pretty miserable this last month, not being able to sleep(: I can still see my feet(thank god) but I do miss being able to bend to shave properly. I officially now only have 10 days, Yay me ;D
