I would like power and money, respect comes along with it usually.

Money can buy power and respect. Respect can get you power and money. Power can get you money...but not respect.

Definitely respect! Technically speaking, you can be respected and have money, but you can't always have money while being respected. Life is about relationships, and respect highlights this more than money. Besides, you can make more of a difference in people's lives being respected than being rich...it's more personal, more genuine...

IT is more important to understand the meaning of money,power and respect than to have it.

The respected person will have demonstrated integrity in their use of power and money. Neither power nor money necessarily earns respect.

8) Power money- When you have money, you are respected...respectable! People usually disrespect those ones without money because they seem to be powerless! Money is power! If not, try to move or buy without money...it is almost impossible.

Respect often comes with having power and money. The more humble way is to ask for respect first, but in this day and age...well, you know that money and power does help a great deal of gaining respect. Whether the respect comes from deep down inside, love or whereever else, it is still respect. I find that most people are looking for wealth and power to gain respect. You can have respect with $ and power, but it's just not the same. It's like going to the movies and getting soft drink without any popcorn.

I believe one should earn respect to gain wealth and power; to the victor go the spoils....arrrgggghhhhhh

Respect and money is a necessary and important element in life, but its not most important becuse having financial success is nothing without having someone to share it with, weather it be family or friends, and respect is very important because if no one respects you it can have a very negative effect on your life and career also relationships in short, we need both money and respect one is no good without the other but ultimately it is much better to have a full happy life and love over all.
Neither is better then the other and in the end it is the mark we leave on others and what people remember about you that counts yes respect should be one thing people think and remember about you, because you cant take money with you at the end of life so if I had to really choose I would choose to have respect first money second but not over love. :peace:

Actually, when you have money, people generally pretend to like you to get that money, but when you are out of money, they turn your back on you. What kind of respect is that?
People usually disrespect those ones without money because they seem to be powerless! Money is power! If not, try to move or buy without money...it is almost impossible.
Money only gets you fake respect, however if you earn respect, you will get respect, and it will be true respect. Along with that respect may come money and power, but that's if you are determined and respected enough to get it.
Anyways, my choice is:

I agree that respect is more important. When others respect you then things like power and money come your way. Maybe not the amount of power or money you want, but you get what you earn. Sure money is nice and we all would like to be in control all the time, but after you have those things and realize that they really don't make you happy, then you realize what's iimportant. I would much rather have the respect of those around me than either money or power.

i think that it's better to be respected more than anything because once you have respect then you are in the game because if you're not respected then it's like you're invisable people don't see you

Now-a-days seems as money is the root to get power, and respect. People just don't seem to have respect at all now. I remember when we were younger, people that were older then you got all the respect that was due to them. Seems as though no one cares any more, I guess this is part of the "me" phase, and seems as people don't respect themselves either.
The best would be respect, but where will you find it. I know it is out there somewhere, then there will be money and next power. Most of the time people want just money.
Money comes then I think you will get a little respect if someone want money from you.

I would take respect any day. If you have respect then your name is all you need. Money doesn't really buy respect b/c they only think about how they can get at the money so they can careless about you as a person. Power is nothing just another way of throwing your money around and what do you have still nothing. At least with respect you have a clear name and a clear conscience. :dontknow: :thumbsup:

I would take money. However, I don't mean money in the sense of having cash to burn but being productive and make money through my own hard works and efforts. I'm being paid for what I do so money is simply the result of my works. Respect and power are very similar in that they depend on other people. I cannot get respect and power if people don't give a hoot about who I am. People are fickle so they might respect me today but kick me out to the dirt tomorrow. Power is simply control over others, if others refused to be controlled then I am nothing. Money is the only constant variable that I control through my own abilities.

I'd rather have power, then money, then respect. Cause if I had power, I wouldn't care what other people thought of me. If you have power, people have no other choice but to respect you. So power and respect can go hand and hand. Unfortunately a lot of evil people are in power, so the word power has been given a bad rep.

I think that having power and or money is nothing if you don't have respect. You could have all the money or suspose it power in the world but if people look at you with distain in there eyes then where are you. Sitting there with your money and power with no one. Give me respect anyday over that. If you got a good name then your good to go. :wave:

Well I would like the money...LOL...however since we do not have that I will settle for respect. Power is not important to me as stress usually comes with that.

Self respect is the best thing you can have. It allows you to have power over yourself which will often lead to opportunities for the respect of others which can lead to more power and money. And to not worry so much about power and money.

Money is POWER. IF you have enough money, you can make people act like they respect you. Also, it has already been proven that here in the USA, IF you have enough money then you can BUY all the justice you need and essentially get by with any crime. Remember O.J. and Nicole Simpson. Remember Michael Jackson?? Happens evryday in Washington DC, The White House, The US Congress, and The US Senate.

respect would be the number 1 priority for me over money or power, when you have respect you have your dignity to get power and money.

2) Get the Power and people will Respect you!

Well lets see if we can figure this out. If knowledge is power. And you can make money with knowledge and power. Than you will be respected for the money you make with the knowledge and power. So my vote would be the power of knowledge.

When you have money you usually have power, and with money and power you have a certain amount of respect. And even if you didn't have the respect I could live with having the money. But I have never had it so it is something I covet.

Well, Power can give you access to money.
But, Money can buy you power.
And having power, typically gives you some respect.
However, having lots of respect, can get you into power as well.
Even though i could use the money right now, I would definitely go for either power or respect. ;D
