I still do both but most is e-mail.
-
i don't really send much mail either way. my actual physical mailbox is really only used for sending and receiving netflix movies, gamefly games, and entertainment weekly and parents magazine subscriptions. oh yeah, and to send out my rent check. other than that, i pay all of my bills online, and when i contact family/friends i email or use facebook chats/messages.
-
Both.
Sometimes its just nice to get real snail mail and i still have friends/family that don't routinely use e-mail.
-
I send my mail mostly email, especially when I need it to get to the person quickly. However, my fiance is in the militay, so I sent him letters. That way he can have them to reread whenever he wants!
-
I like to use both, but I use email a whole lot more because it is quicker and faster...but I still get mail through the mail box way too.
-
Most of the time, I like to send email. It's alot easier to send email to communicate with everyone. Email is faster and definitely more convenient. You can sen it in
minutes and at any time of the day ( night). I can send an email during the middle of the night. This doesn't disturb the receipients. They can open anytime or not open.
I can't remember the last time when I mail something.
-
I e-mail, or telephone, the only thing I send in the mail is my netflix movies and my taxes. lol.
-
I have an email for personal use and an email for all other correspondence. I still love sending/receiving cards for holidays the old fashion snail mail way!
-
I used to write letters a lot. It's funny how your handwriting skill deteriorates over time from using a keyboard so much! I'd love to write letters again, but the internet seems to have made me more of an "information NOW" kind of person. Sad when you think about it.
-
I do both. I like to use SendOutCards to create personal greeting cards which go through the regular mail system.
I use email for business and quick notes between friends.
-
I use snail mail maybe 15 times a year pay all bills online, emails, Im contributing to the downfall of the USPS. Damn i dont mean to :BangHead:
-
I email friends and family to catch up on things and to chat and stay in touch. I use regular mail to sent Birthday cards or cards for the holidays or special occasions.
-
Mostly Emails...Except Thank You cards are done through Snail Mail...
-
Sorry, I only use the mail system for my online orders. Everything else, by e-mail. It's faster and more convenient. However, e-mail is being paid for by the advertisers which is why may people say e-mail is free.
-
I mostly email. It's more convenient. But yeah like someone said above, mail is for my Netflix lol.
-
I have been doing about 95% e-mail and maybe send an occasional letter : ) The USPS may be closing down their Saturday deliveries now to save money.
-
I use email mostly, especially when I need to connect to several people about the same topic (health status; change in plans etc). Plus it's easier to type than it is to actually write things by hand. And you can read your response before you send it and make corrections easily.
-
I mainly use "snail mail" for my correspondence because I am OLD SCHOOL! If the pony express were still around i'd probably use it too!
-
It depends on what it is. If it is an invitation, old school snail mail, if it is a birthday greeting, email.
-
I write my friend in Uruguay by snail mail. He's on a LDS mission and can't always email, but sometimes we get to! Most the time for everything else I email. With everything online now (bills etc) it's a lot more convenient!
-
I do both but for the most part i e-mail alot it is easier and you don't have to use a stamp
-
I mostly e-mail. I sometimes use snail mail though.
-
the only time i use regular mail is when someone i know goes to jail lol
-
Email most of the time; mail if neccessary.
-
I email my dad at work, but Mom hasn't gotten the hang of internet or text messages, so she gets an occasional snail mail letter.
-
in this high tech time.
Just do E-mail is the fastest way ... love it ...
-
email...aren't stamps still .25 cents?
-
I mostly send letters in the mail. I don't really use e-mail to contact relatives, i use social networks (Facebook, Myspace, those type of sites.)
-
I do both still like to write letters sometimes gives personal touch.
-

oh how lovely that would be. haha i just sent out my wedding invitations a bit ago, and stamps being $0.44, we spent about $50 total on the invitations. and then, of course, you have thank you cards... i wish stamps were still that cheap. the forever stamp is a wonderful idea though. if i had extra cash, it'd be smart to buy a whole ton of forever stamps, enough to last me my lifetime so i wouldn't have to deal with them continuing to go up in price.
-
E-mail, of course. I read that Netflix is the USPO's office biggest customer and they are having a fit about the USPO's potentially stopping Saturday delivery.
-
I do both. My husband is currently deployed and i email him but i also send him letters and card the old fashion way--we have been married for 13 yrs and he has every letter and card i ever sent him! ;D when he was in Basic training for the army, i never know when or how long i was gonna get to talk to him so every night when i got home from work i would write him a letter and mail it the next day! I did that EVERYDAY he was gone! :crybaby2:
-
People think it's so cute when I send them letters. I haven't done that in a while though. Maybe I should! I mostly email. I think that's what everyone does nowadays. I don't see how the post office is still in business! Letters are a thing of the past and only older people do it, at least that's been my experience. Everyone should take a few minutes and write someone a letter. It's old-fashioned, adorable, and they'll really appreciate it!
-
email all the way. I get my bills and bank statements through email. I only get junk mail in the snail mailbox, the only time I use snail mail is if I need to ship something tangible. But if it's just words and I'd really rather not waste the paper. Not to mention the waste of money due to postage ;)
-
I use both but if stamps keeps getting higher I may just use only email.
-
Mostly Email but i do have some friends/family that have not entered the computer world. so i still do the Snail Mail way for them.
-
I do not so much anymore, but I spect I will be now, that I had my phone turned off today.

Kelligirl...
Your husband is so lucky to have you write to him "the old fashioned" way. I know from our son and duaghter who in the services that "snail mail" is definitely the most cherished!
Our son is currently in Kuwait. We actually use Facebook and Skype to communicate "live".
Our daughter kept every letter we sent to her in Basic Training too!
-
I use both, but I'm increasingly dependent on email.
-

I do both email and the old fashioned mail. But email is definitely more convenient
-
Mostly email though I would like to receive/send the handwritting mail from time to time.
-

Oh no :o Netflix must get their movies to their customers! Although it would be much more awesome if Netflix had all their movies available in their "instant" section. Twould save them so much money and allow customers to watch any movie they wanted whenever they wanted.
-
If it's just a note, I email, but for some special things, like birthdays and such, I send cards, and letters in the mail.. 'snail mail'
-
I use both. If the message is short I'll email and if its long/personal I'll mail it.
-
:) Most of the time I use the Internet because it is faster than other methods. If I have any problems with my e-mails, then I use regular USA mail.
-
I still do both but most is e-mail.
I think now a day people use email to communicate more. But still send mail through old way... Because my grandma didn't know how to use internet.
-
id prefer to email so i dont have to worry about having stamps. but if i have too, i will send things in the mail.
-
Mostly email. I do as much online as possible.
-
i still do both but usually email since its cheaper.
-
Hardly either one any more. I get tired of e-mail and of course postal mail is really down for everyone.
-
e-mail or text is the only way to go - instant gradification ???
