I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
Yep, just read that sentence again. Would you go pay your neighbor $10 for the privilege of raking his yard? If you would, I hope you are my neighbor.
-
There are so many work at home sites that are like that and most are just scams. I can't see paying someone to work on one of those sites. I want to make money not pay someone else to work-that's insane.
-
I agree. You should not have to pay to work. I won't do that. I just want to work and get paid for it. I tried that once, then I had to "apply" for the work and none of them called me back. I asked for my money back guarantee and I did get my money back. I can apply for jobs on my own, I don't need to pay someone.
-
I also agree that you should not pay to have to work
-
As soon as a site wants money or a credit card to sign up, I assume it's a scam.
-
I would never pay a work at home site. It just screams "scam" at me everytime I come across one. It is hard to find legitimate sites.
-
Nope, I do not give money to someone, usually that is a sign of a scam and I avoid this. They are making money by getting yours. If you are going to do that, you might as well throw your conscious out the window, and make people pay you to work, wrong, wrong, wrong.
-
I agree I would never pay to work for someone, as it is a tail-tell sign that yup its a scam! I hope everyone reads all the fine print before considering it!
-
Who? What? Why should I pay someone to work at home? ??? ??? :dontknow: ??? ??? HuH!!! Am I reading this right, I'm going to pay someone for me to work at home??? I don't think so!
-
Who? What? Why should I pay someone to work at home? ??? ??? :dontknow: ??? ??? HuH!!! Am I reading this right, I'm going to pay someone for me to work at home??? I don't think so!
You have to pay fees to start but they claim that after that you will be making more money. you usually don't.
-
even when you go through brick and mortar temp agencies, they don't charge you a fee, so why should it be any different online?
-
paying someone else is a rip off. iam unemployed i need income but not that way ,that is why iam doing paid surveys/emails
-
if you have pay someone up front for your work kit then i would not do it
-
I think they are bogus. If you really could make that much money then why don't they take the amount of money out of your first check that you make!!
-
I am sure they would not provide you with anything that you could not get on your own with a little research on the internet.
-
Why would you pay someone to work?? :BangHead: Isn't that like a complete opposite of working? What would be the benefit of working
-
Never ever pay anyone to get a job working at home or away from home. That's how these people bilk the "desperate to be employed". Don't get me wrong, I've spent lots of money online (merchandise), but not for a job. They promise you'll made thousands of dollars a week, etc, etc. That should be a flashing red light right there. ::) Anyone online who wants money up front to train you to do what they do, run the other way. There are so many scams online it's absurd. Be careful out there.
-
I would never do it! Just a month ago I was searching for work at home jobs. I found this data entry site that asked for a $75 registration fee. Forget that! :BangHead:
-
I wouldn't trust it. Most of those sites are scams that just what your quick money and then what it actually give you to work probably won't even make you anything.
-
I am in constant search for the free work at home opportunity-they are hard to come by
-
Most of them are fake only a couple are actually real. If you have ever listened to Clark Howard he has on his website the ones that are real but you do have to pay for the access of the information from the companies. You have to be very very careful or you will lose money just keep going with FC because we know they are for real.
-
;) I would not pay them and I would not work for them. It looks like it is a scam...like many other scams going around.
-
I don't think u should have to pay to work on any job. Its just not right if I had the money to pay someone for a job then I didn't need the job in the first place I would already have the money.
-
It's ridiculous! It's just like those adds that promise tons of money, be yourmown boss. Then when you go in they say they are preparing you to sell perfume. Plus you don't get paid till u actually sell something! True story by the way. ::) I just hope that people don't fall for it.
-
I've never used one and I never would. You should never have to pay for working online especially when there are a number of ways to earn or make money online without paying one red cent out of your own pocket. I do it everyday.
-
i Dissapprove of anyone that has to pay someone to work for them. Those are scams. >:(
-
There are some legit work at home business opportunities out here. Some may require you to pay for your training but, you should always look on BBB to check them out. I have been working with a couple of really good work at home companies. One, I didn't have to pay anything to start butm the other, I had to pay for the training class. Those two are the real deal. But, you have to be VERY careful.
-
Any site that makes you pay to work for them is a scam.
-
I'm trying to make money, not give money I don't have away for something they want me to do for them. Oh no, it is not happening. It is hard enough.
-
I myself would not pay for a job to work at home.
-
Forget them all together.
-
Yeah I agree with girlswin2.
They're not charging me to make money, thats bull.
-
I feel like there is something wrong with having to pay someone to work for them, if its an actual thing there should be no fee to be paid to start employment, Ive looked into a bunch of these and they all appear to be scams, so i just stick with paid survey sites instead.. a bit less cash to be made, but no money outta my empty pockets... lol ;D
-
I have actually had a job interview in person with a company that needed almost 500 before i could even start working.... THATS INSANE
-
yeah most of the are scams :binkybaby:
-
i never pay for something like this most of them are scams.
-
Who would want to pay someone to work. Thats a little silly.
-
They're all scams ~ would you pay someone to give you a job? Absolutely not! :angry7: :angry7:
-
They are bad news! I was always interested in finding more info about them but I didn't want to pay for the program and end up not liking it and stay stuck with a bill!
-
I think they are scams. you shouldn't have to pay to work :bs:
-
You are looking for a work to get paid, they are the one to pay you for your service, they are the one looking for workers not the other way around.
-
almost every single one of them is a scam. If your working from home, you better be prepared to log the hours- it' not a peaches and cream like the sites imply, most of the time you are working an average of 10 hours a day minimum for less money per hour :BangHead:
-
I have been trying to find my way to make some money online.
One time I received a phone call asking if I would like to quit my day time job and start working online though I don't have a job now.
But I do wanna make money, so I continue to talk to him on the phone trying to find out what was going on.
He told me average people who join the program can earn at least $2000/month (which isn't too bad).
But how much am I willing to invest? (At this point, he hadn't said anything about the program but already asked if I would like to put $5000 into it. Hello?! Do you really think I am crazy?! The reason why we are all on net to look for ways to make money is because we want/need more, so why would people like that think we have that kind of money to put into a program we don't even know.)
So of course I refused to continue the conversation though they still call me from time to time.
Really need to watch out on those web sites. No matter if they put all those well known icons or not, they are all trying to get you into their scams.
-
I think that this is a con, people should pay you to work, this is how they are making their money if you pay them, you are not going to make anything.
-
I Think if you have to pay someone a fee,, its a scam!!
-
well ive been looking for an easy way to earn some cash during free time. and having to pay first before you can make a cent really chaps my booty... LAME! :BangHead: :bootyshake: :bootyshake:
-
Usually they are scams, but not always. There may be a reason why you have to pay to work. It happens in the off-line world just as in the on-line businesses. My friend works as a manager in a grocery store in our city. The store has a policy that all employees must wear white, button-up dress shirts, solid slacks, and solid, dark-colored shoes. If you are not wearing their dress-code, they won't allow you to work. But they don't pay for your clothes; you have to purchase the clothes in order to work for them. Similarly, you may pay for education or training in order to get into a job you desire. People spend thousands of dollars going to college to get a good job without batting an eye, but charge them $500 on-line training fee and they're screaming "SCAM!" People is sales need to spend money on products to sell and / or on advertising. Manufacturers also spend money on raw-goods.
When you have to spend money for an on-line job, determine why you need to spend that money first before declaring it a scam. Perhaps as a marketing company, they have spent their own time and resources to develop a program that allows you to advertise and sell their product with very little effort on your end. A few very legit companies require you to purchase their "Affiliate Package" that includes samples of the products they produce, you own web-portal that you can use to collect orders, advertising pamphlets, posters, etc pre-made for you, etc. before you are able to sell their product. Perhaps they have specialized training that other companies they contract with require before hiring you on. There's an online company that places people to work as help-desk personnel that are able to accept calls and work directly out of your house. However, they require you to take a basic Help-desk class before they will place you with another company, and sometimes those other companies will require even more intense training into their specific industry.
Although a site asking for money is usually a good flag, you should do a little homework and research into the company to see exactly why you need to pay money to work.
-
Some of these sites. They all use the small print to get away with stuff.
But the BIG print will always say." Make $100 a day" That is what always
grabs people. Especially in these stuff times.
-
That is an absolute no-no. Too many scams out there.
-
I would never pay anyone for a job. On or off the Web. What has been said that many are scams, but another thought is that you may be paying for just training and nothing else. I have spent money online, but only for items I'm buying on Amazon or Ebay.....never employment.
You have to ask yourself just what are you paying for, and why? A lot of these scam sites will take your money and give you some "literature" for training purposes, and then you never hear from them again. Face it, these companies are out to make money and nothing else.
-
When I see sites like that, I immediately move on. Those type of sites are scams and there are never any follow through.
-
The point of working is to get money not to have to spend it. I think it's readiculous when you have to pay a fee in the hopes of making good money. Besides, if anyone's like me and trying to work online, then you don't have the money to begin with to pay the fee.
-
I think it' dum and even dimmer if you do.
-
I say, "No Thanks!"
Done that and bought the tshirt ;D
-
If it says to pay them, I wont. For fusion cash, if it says to give them a credit card for a free trial offer, I use a prepaid card and then cancel when it says too. I want to make money, not give out money.
-
I wouldn't do it. Too afraid to get scammed. And it just doesn't sound right for me to pay someone so that I can work for them. I work to get paid, not pay to work.
-
sounds like a scam to me... >:(
-
You should never have to pay someone for the privilege of working for them. I can see if you might have to buy some clothes so you would conform to the company's dress standard, but you should never have to pay the company or person directly to work for them.
-
It depend on what work at home job you do. Now I sell avon and yes I paid $10 for a kit and that's all I had to pay now I have my own Avon business with 20 people under me and I in the last year I have brought my business up to $20,000 business.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
Try and avoid talking to any of those people who are trying to sell you something that will make big bucks for you. "been there, done that!
Also they make you think your a knucklehead if you question their hype, "like why would you not want to make thousands of dollars a week". ???
-
Well I am sure some of them are legit a few of them actually but with the huge number of scammers you don't know who is legit and who is not, if it is legit I don't mind to pay a small fee first but how would I know its legit even if you goggle it sometimes you would never know
-
I feel that if anyone wants you to work for them then you should not have to pay them. I received several messages through my emails with these types of offers and all I do is delete them. They should pay us not the other way around. :-
-
I think they are bogus. If you really could make that much money then why don't they take the amount of money out of your first check that you make!!
Research the company and always check them out with the Better Business Bureau.
Review the BBB's Work-at-Home Schemes information. Ask for at least three references of people they have worked with. Call each person and ask about their experiences with the company.
-
Research is the key to finding positive results for a job
-
I would never sign up for those sites.
-
most of them are scams, making money from people who are desparted
-
I google work at home sites to see if there are good or bad reviews. It depends if it is a job one should not have to pay, but if it is a business there normally is a fee, just make sure you do your due diligence.
-
If you have to pay to work for them, then chances are they are scammers! Do not do it.
-
i don't thonk you should invest any money....check out those that are free
-
If you have to pay, it's a scam. I wouldn't pay anything to those sites.
-
most work at home sites are scams. in my opinion hard work, saving and making a diffrence in the neighborhood around you is much better.I would rather be broke and happy. knowing i made a diffrence.
-
Every site I go to I don't read it first. I scroll down to the bottom to see if they are charging a price and if they are I click the red X and not waste my time reading the unnecessary long and I mean long information of what they have to say trying to get me to pay them for me to work for them is just ludicrus. Never ever pay any one to work that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of...
-
I would definitely not pay to work from home. All these sites sound to good to be true! Especially the ones that say you can make $1,000.00 a day. Are you kidding me? If it was that easy I think we'd all be working from home for that business. ;)
-
I think it is a bad idea, you are doing them a service, why should you pay to make money. You only lose in this project.
-
I do not think it is right to for you to pay to work online. Something should be done about that. It is wrong.
-
Don't do it it's a scam!!!! Why would you want to anyways? You have a great site right here! FC
-
It not worth, to pay for doing their work.
-
I want a job that pays me not me pay them. There maybe some legit jobs out there but, I sure haven't found them yet. I believe if it is really legit then they should allow me to pay after I make the money.
I even received a envelope in the mail the other day (don't know how they got my name and address) it had instructions on what to do and a check to do it with. I felt it was a bunch of crap and I was right. I looked up the business that the check was cut from and got hold of them to ask about it and let them know it was happening and they said they knew about it already and it was a scam, they had already notified there bank. I'm glad I thought about it and checked into it. Fair warning, if you receive a letter in the mail and there is a check with it DO NOT deposit the check and spend the money, Throw it in the Trash.
-
Yeah paying someone to work is ALWAYS a scam. When I got hired at my job, they told me how much they would pay ME for the WORK that I do. They did not ask me to pay them any money to work for them. It should be the same way with an online job...never pay them.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
You're pulling our leg,right!!! :P
-
I will never pay a dime to work on a website that wants my money when I want their money LOL.
-
I think that some are a joke cause if i have to pay u 100 bucks for a cd set just to work from home then u aint happing. :bootyshake:
-
I believe it is a scam if websites wants you the worker to pay them .
-
The work at home scams that are particularly annoying are the ones where you not only have to pay an upfront fee, but then a huge monthly fee also. A lot of drop shippers are like that. Since you are selling their products for them, you shouldn't have to pay a monthly fee. They are getting their profits from the items you sell for them. I think a lot of work at home schemes would work out if you didn't have to shell out all your profits in monthly fees.
-
I don't agree with them.I want to get paid to work. Not pay them to let me work.It seems kinds backwards, doesn't it?
-
THEY ALOT OF SPAMS OUT THERE .. NOW DAYS U DONT KNOW IF IT REAL OR FAKE..
-
All of the sites that ask you for money to work are all scams!! Do not pay anyone when there are so many free sites out there!!
-
I feel like if I had the money to pay.... I wouldn't be looking for a job. I have seen so many sites that claim they need help and are hiring, that they have so much work, and not enough people. Can you guess the reason they don't have enough people.....YOU ASK THEM TO PAY TO WORK FOR YOU!!! It don't take a BA degree in business to know that that is just wrong! :icon_rr:
-
I would understand that if it was legit. Most work at home jobs are fake anyway.I about to see how this Fusion Cash works out, need the extra cash. But yea I would pay to work at home...but must be a real job.
-
They sound like scams too me. Why would you have to pay an employer for work????
-
I don't patronize those sites. But I guess that is one way to make money, have people pay you to look...............
-
u should'nt have to pay for a job.
-
If any site wants me to pay, I leave.
-
I definitely dont trust those kind of sites, its a scam if they ask you to pay this much money and things like that for you to work.
-
shouldn't have to pay to work
-
Pay to work is the biggest scam around. You might as well try to buy a African lottery ticket. On both accounts, you lose your money and gain nothing but a headache
-
I can understand why you would feel that way. Most of the time for a home based business you are paying a membership fee and purchasing something. For example, to be an avon rep. you will spend 20.00 for some products and then you have the option to make money from purchases through you. Sort of an affiliated marketing system. Depending on how much effort you put into it determines the amount of money you could make. I think that there are enough avon reps even though I can never find one when I want. But it is a way to make some extra cash. I see no difference in that, than a site that asks you to refer someone even though you will make a little off of that also. Look at how much time someone spends on line on sites like this to earn a meager commission and think it's alright because it didn't cost you anything to sigh up. If you made the same amount of time and effort to market a product that you could make a substantial commission from as you do to make sure you make the 3.00 a month to post here or on other sites, you could increase your chances of making more money, meet and make new friends (more referalls) the possiblities are endless.
-
I think all of those sights are scams. I wouldn't give them any amount of money no matter what they try to offer.
-
that's right
-
Tried them, don't wast your time or money.
-
I pretty much agree with everyone's responses. I would not pay a company to work for them. Chances are, it is a scam.
There is only one company that I paid $49.95 for, but I feel that it was worth every penny. It offered me such a wide variety of things that I could do to make money from home. They provided training, and the software needed for whatever job you chose. Plus for each category they had a list of companies that I could apply with and work for. Some of the categories were data entry, transcription, telemarketing, customer service. I am a very fast typer. Last time I tested myself I was at 76 WPM. They had software and programs available that would help people who didn't type very fast.
Basically this site offered something for everybody. They showed you how you could make money writing articles, creating blogs, using Adsense in your blogs to help generate even more money.
I would pay the $49.95 again for everything that I got from this site. It was worth every penny. If anyone would like the name of the site just send me a message.
But any other site out there that wants you to pay first and then work for them is a scam and I would stay as far away from those sites as possible.
-
Well tell you the truth I feel like they only trying to scam you and get you to pay to help fatten their pocket and make them wealthy, Yeah they have these website and be telling bogus stories that sound so good to be true and if you are a desperate person they will prey on you especially when you are looking for a legit site to make some money on,but this when they get you is when you pay the money and find out you were scammed.
-
I do not like the work @ home opportunities that a person has to pay to join, or have to give a credit card #, to me this is a way of scamming the public.
-
Any site that asks for money to make money is a scam and should be ignored. The purpose of working is to make money not to spend it. So never ever pay to make money.
-
really work at home sites dont catch my eye like that but i cant lie but some of these work at home sites do work and it does get u money and i really enjoy doing work at home websites with my daughter because she knows a lot about computers and how to make websites and what to on websites like this and it helps her expoler more with computers
-
I immediately ignore the work at home sites that want money "up front". I don't waste my time, effort or money on them. I feel that my skills are more important and that I should be paid - not to pay them. I guess some of them might work, but I automatically exit out as soon as they ask for a credit card.
-
I think that kinda of defeats the purpose of you working for them. In a sense I guess you could call the company a "pimp" and the workers for the company that pay them the "hoes". I only use this as a reference because its the only "job" that i know of where the employees have to pay their boss to work.
-
It looks like a scam to me.
-
If you have to pay then it is a scam, bottom line.
Also, if they don't post a phone number for their business, it is a scam, bottom line.
-
There are a lot of scams out there now, just trying to get our money any way they can. The way I see it, is that if I had the money for a job then why would I need the job. ???
-
I have been really discouraged trying to make money from home doing surveys, all I seem to get are more advertisements and scams, where and when do you find the REAL jobs for taking surveys out there? Has anyone got any advice for me. :dontknow:
-
really work at home sites dont catch my eye like that but i cant lie but some of these work at home sites do work and it does get u money and i really enjoy doing work at home websites with my daughter because she knows a lot about computers and how to make websites and what to on websites like this and it helps her expoler more with computers
Don't do them. If that ask for money that are a scam. There are articles with the BBB on those kind of survey sites. Check into them thoroughly if your thinking about joining. Especially if you are going to give them money.
-
As an owner of a Hbb I agree.
There are business's out there
that require some kind of money
up front but you will usually
be getting a product of some sort.
Do be careful of the Gurus that
try to sell you there push button
marketing. You will know when
you see these sites because most
of them make it sound like you
don't have to do anything except
push a couple of buttons and wala,
you wake up and have money in
the bank.
There is enough free opportunities
you shouldn't have to pay to join.
Bill
-
I totally agree. Why should I pay you to work for you? My current employer didn't ask me for money to work for them!
Have a good day all-
-
not a good idea try to avoid them most are not worth it.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
Do Not give a site money to make money :dontknow:. There are so many scams out on the internet however there are many legitimate sites. Always research any site prior to signing.
Good luck in your search.
-
Those sites are suspicious.
-
Work at home sites that want you to pay them are a scam from my experience.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
I've done a lot of research on those kind of work at home scams. And most (not all) are just that. Always check with the BBB before joining.
-
Well, it's simple, that's how they make their money whether you are successful or not.
-
why should u make people to pay for the information for them to work for you that crazy to me....
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
I am not sure haw i feel about paying to work for some one at home all i can say is that i decided to try it and i am getting the info for it some time next week if i make more the i spent for it then it well be well worth it but if not then it was a wast of my time the work from home is one i got from this sight if it works for me i will let you know and tell you what i find out about it wish me luck.
-
I have bought a couple but I don't like the ones that have a monthly price.
-
I would never pay money to any site.
-
you shouldn't pay to get a job.they should pay you.i guess.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
my thoughts exactly
-
I don't think you should have to pay to work for someone. It should be them paying you.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
-
If a person has to pay to work from home, then it is a scam. I do not like it when a home business tells a person that what they are offering is totally free, then at the end of the promotion, they tell you that it will only cost $50.00. That is just a plain lie.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
Yep, just read that sentence again. Would you go pay your neighbor $10 for the privilege of raking his yard? If you would, I hope you are my neighbor.
true but what if your neighbor said you can rake my lawn for 5 dollars and if you do a good job you will get 50 is it worth it then that is the thing you have to look at when you are doing it. if you think about it if you want to start in Avon you have to buy the samples that you give people and the book they order from and if they don't pay you then you have to pay to send it back or pay for it your self is that worth it. if you want to start you own business you have to buy every thing for it and hope it works.
-
I am generally leary of work at home sites. Work at home sites that you have to pay for??? I would not even go near there. Like other people have said. Would you pay your employer to work, does not makes sense.
-
It's not enough money to make momey from home.
-
I would definitely stay away from them. They are a scam.
-
I would definitely stay away from them. They are a scam.
Not all work at home stuff is a scam you need to know where to look to make sure its not. you can always check with the BBB if they are not accreted then it is a pretty good chance its a scam if they have been accreted then it will say if it is A-F rating just like in school A+ is very good and you have a good chance with it if its an F stay far away if it has nothing at all then you should stay away as well.
-
I think that it would be crazy to pay to work for someone. I just got one of those scam e-mails to get paid to put Red Bull decals all over my car for $600.00/month but researched it and found out how many people had been scammed. So I looked for a reputable source and there was a whole host of sites that guaranteed results as long as you paid them a minimum of fifteen dollars. I have taken to calling the marketing departments of different corporations to see if they would pay to have their name all over my car.
-
I feel very skeptical of them and think most of them are scams.
-

Even without the scams, I've looked into that, and most have a requirement for how many miles per month you have to drive, and if you fall below that you could become ineligible for pay. In addition, those decals can damage paint jobs. I knew someone who did it, and said the amount she made did not make up for the added costs she incurred.
As for the overall topic, I will never put my card info on any site that promises me money in exchange for mine. If I'm paying for it, I'm not an employee, I'm a customer.
-
Rip Off
-
I got scammed on one of these sites. I guess thats who you learn a lesson.
-
They are nothing but scam artists.

if it is a true work at home position no payment is needed If there is a payment reg they are scams or a home based business looking for independent contractors.
If you want a work at home position your best bet is to be hired by a company Brick and mortor and ask to work from home.
There are many ways to make money on the internet but legal work at home positions are very very limited. So please be careful  :peace:
-
I know an awesome work at home job. It is not a scam I get paid every 2 weeks, direct deposit and you can work full or part time. You will have to have certain requirements suuch as home broadband Internet and a home phone. Very easy and fun job. I would post the link so you can go to the website to get higher but as you know what cannot post links from other websites.
-
O yea and you do not have to pay them anything to get started. There is a lot of scams out there that says you have to send in money.
-
I don't think you should t need to pay to work. I've seen online sites mentioning such things and I avoid them like the plague.
-
That's a scam. Anytime any company tells you that you have to pay them for something that is commonly done for free (such as paying for a scholarship application) is a scam.
-
I don't beleive in them, it all a scam. If I have to paid someone to find me a job, then I don't need it. Please don't get caught up in that.
-
Those people are so full of it, they offer u a job and you have to pay? That's crazy :angry7:
-
I won't spend money to make money, I only do the free offers and surveys, oh and of course the daily click and email!
-
I think that work at home sites that want you to pay them are a scam. If I thought that I could get away with it I would open a on-line business and see if I could get people to pay me for at home work.
-
most are not scams but some that are mulilevel marketing may be ok.
-
I am doing one and I am thinking of not doing it anymore it is a small amount. I'll make it up with the other free ones that I am doing.
-
Well how I feel about this is that most of of those sites are total scams. No one should be asking you to pay them in order for you to earn money online.
-
I think that kinda of defeats the purpose of you working for them. In a sense I guess you could call the company a "pimp" and the workers for the company that pay them the "hoes". I only use this as a reference because its the only "job" that i know of where the employees have to pay their boss to work.
I think my friend that is a tattoo artist would be troubled to hear you say that.... He has to pay a small fee in order to work at the tattoo parlor. But after paying that monthly fee, anything he makes from his clients is his alone. I think some carnies work under the same principle; you may have to pay a small fee to the fair / carnival but afterward anything they make is their own money. Also many strippers dancers work under the same model, but that may be getting closer to your original analogy... ;D
Similarly, some on-line businesses (Avon has been mentioned a few times) require a small fee but then anything you earn is your own money. However you have to determine what the fee is going towards before declaring it a scam. For my friend the skin artist, he pays the tattoo shop a fee that goes towards building rent, utilities, advertisement, etc. There are also other shops where there are no fees for this stuff, but then the shop gets a cut on all sales that the artist makes. Similarly, I could see an on-line business charging a small maintainence fee for their software, space on their servers, etc. but any sale you generate from the web-site that they give you is your own earnings. A different business may handle those maintainence costs differently by not charging you any fess, but then taking a cut off of your sales.
I've also heard some people mention that selling educational / informational material is just a scam, esp. if that information can be found for free... But this too may have an underlying reason behind the fee. Even though the information may be found for free, time is money, and if it would take you several days doing the research for yourself, it may actually be more worthwhile to pay a fee for that information rather than spend so much time finding this "free" information yourself.
Thus I'd never say that all of these businesses are scams; although this does tend to be the case more often than not. So I'd say to be cautious about these sites. Check the BBB, Google them to read up on any complaints, and determine the reason why the fees are necessary. In the end, no one is forcing you to accept any of these jobs, so even if after doing your research and the company seems legit, if you still don't feel comfortable with it, then just skip it and move onto something more suitable to you.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
You're right they should have to pay a person to work for them not vice versa, if my luck on this doesn't change soon I may give up on the whole trying to use the computer to make money, I'm really getting tired of wasting my time
-
Have you not had luck with anything? I dont' think these sites are here for people to quit there day jobs. These work from home sites are just to supplement and give people something to do..I guess.
-
C'mon now, when you're looking for a job in the real world, would you pay someone to find it for you? It's normal practice for the COMPANY to pay any fees. I won't touch anything that asks me for money, it reeks of SCAM!
-
if i have to pay someone to work for them i had rather clean my own house lol, i go across the street every week to get my neighbors trash bins to take them to the road for pick up , and help with her limbs. it would never occur to me to charge her, so doing something for someone else for free why would you pay to get help for yourself. makes no sense and these people are not only crooked they are just plain wrong.
-
I keep on going and i dont look back because i dont believe they work
-
You definitely should never have to pay someone to work for them. That makes no sense and defeats the purpose entirely. There are plenty of people who are willing to pay you for the work they need done.
There are other opportunities that claim to have a home based business for you and you have to pay for their information and start up package, which is fine if it is a legit company and you are really interested and have confidence in your ability to succeed with such a business, but that is different than actually working for somebody. Avon is one of these companies and many people have said it's worked for them.
-
I think these people have no morals that make you pay to earn money, wrong.
-
I've never heard of any legitimate work at home sites that charge you. Seems to me that an employer should be paying employees instead of the other way around. Please beware of these scams!!!
-
That's easy. Scam!
-
I think it is a scam also, I would never send them any money, if you do then they have access to you bank account and then there are some of them even want you ss# Who knows wht they would do with that info. Scary thought.
-
I think its absolutely bogus i get so frustrated because of course they dont bring up the price untill ur stoked about doing the darn thing and its just dissapointing.. are there anyu dont have to pay for that will actuall bring me income??
-
Sorry but i wouldn't pay
-
I have seen alot of these sites that want you to pay them. I stay away from them. If they didn't you to work they should pay you instead of you paying them. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.
-
There are a lot of great companies online that are good for spare cash. I do not think we are allowed to mention them by name here, though. But just google paid surveys and read carefully. I have a lot of them I am working for right now, but Fusion Cash is at the top! I am making money doing surveys and home product trials, focus groups, etc, but don't expect any of them to really be big money enough to live off of alone. I personally have not paid to join any groups, but I have read here on the Forums that some (like old buddy) have made good money off of others like paid referral sites and the like. It's up to you and to each his own, but any of them (just like here) completely depend on the effort you put into them, of course. Good luck and check into it.
-
You really shouls not have to pay anything.
-
never use them 99% are scams
-
Just have to be careful of the work at home scams....alot of them are out there. But, for the legitimate ones, I think its great that I can stay at home and earn some extra cash otherwise I wouldn't be interested.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
I don't understand them why would you even ask someone to do that.
-
I agree - I see these offers quite often.
I believe that they are most likely a scam.
All employment outside the home does not require any deposit(s).
Stay far, far away from these.
-
This sounds like a scam to me! They should be paying you not you paying them. Run as far away as possible from such offers.
-
I agree with one of the replies above..you shouldn't have to pay someone money to make money especially since you're working from home...Work at home jobs should be treated as a regular job...you don't pay your employer to work for the. You do the job and then they pay...that's how the working world works.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
:-
-
Yeah I agree pay to work is ridiculous but it's really hard to find a real job online especially for the mother who wants to work but they can't because they have to stay home to take care of their children.
-
Years ago I did some mystery shopping that really paid well! Some of those want you to pay to sign up. It depends on how you use those. Mystery shopping a restaurant, you may break even. In that case you got a free meal. Or if you purchase something you want, like a shirt. If you break even, well that is a good deal. Those sites are still around so someone knows how to use them!!! Even if you have to pay.
-
Pretty sure this sort of thing is a scam. I would stay away from it, personally.
-
I do several work at home jobs. But if they ask for money, I do not even finish their applications. All of the ones I work for pay me to work for them, not the other way around! I do mystery/secret shopping for several companies, any of the sites that ask for money to list me I skipped. I am doing very well at this with them paying me too!
-
I simply can't pay to work for anybody. That's why I love Fusion Cash. There is no reason to pay unless you see something you want to pay cash for. I have to admit that I have 1 monthly subscription that I got from FC and so I am not in profit until I've earned over $20 here. My earnings here pay for that subscription to an identify protection service.
-
Avoid them at all costs.
-
I have tried quite a few "make money working at home" schemes. I've paid each and everyone for startup. What I learned too late is the true meaning of that phrase. "make money(the company) ...working at home (me,for free)". Those schemes have a business plan that is nearly impossible to reach the payout, usually with limited time period and then the period resets.
Fusioncash is the first work at home plan that actually pays you for your work, with no startup costs. Fusioncash will take this online business by storm.
Thank you Fusioncash
-
Those sites are definitely scams. A while back there was a man on the news who saw an ad for one of make money with google links sites. He paid them close to a hundred dollars to get set up and if I remember correctly never made any money or made very little. The kicker? They continued to debit his credit card monthly after that and I'm not sure if he was able to get it resolved. It was terrible. ANY SITE THAT DEMANDS MONEY FOR YOU TO "WORK" FOR THEM IS AFTER YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND IS NOT LEGITIMATE. There was a site that said people could do call center type work for them and required a resume or application and didn't require a dime of your money. However they did require you to have an internet connection that you would pay for. That sounded far more legitimate to me than any of these other work at home scams. Even if they debit your credit card I doubt they would actually make people money. I would avoid them.
-
I stay away from the sites that expect me to pay to work for them. I see it so stupid. I've never had a job interview anywhere that says "Now you are gonna pay us this much to just get started." How crazy is that.
-
There are employment services which charges fees if their users are hired, however.
I stay away from the sites that expect me to pay to work for them. I see it so stupid. I've never had a job interview anywhere that says "Now you are gonna pay us this much to just get started." How crazy is that.
-
I do a lot of paid to click, paid to write and post content in forums and I've learned to spot red flags. First of all, the ptcinvestigation.com site offers information for a lot of online earning sites. They have an elite list and a list of legitimate sites that have a history of paying members.
I spend time on sites where I don't have to invest financially. The only thing I might pay for are referrals on legitimate and trusted sites. My online earning sites are a great way to subsidize my income and I am paid for my time even if it doesn't seem like I'm paid a lot.
I can invest time without investing a dime.
-
I think most of them are a scam.
-
It makes the idea of working from home feel like a TOTAL SCAM... whether using a survey site or other types of options that require paying a membership, etc. :(
-
I think they are bogus. If you really could make that much money then why don't they take the amount of money out of your first check that you make!!
That is exactly the question I have. I've went online to look for work at home jobs and the most "work at home jobs" that I've come across have been send us money and we'll send you a kit. If I had money to send then I wouldn't be trying to find a job and also thinking that if this worked as well as you claim then help me get started and deduct your cost from my first check.
-
those are scams
-
I wouldn't even work for them. It's a scam.
-
I refuse to pay money to a site to try to make money, defeats the entire purpose of working! :BangHead: :bs:
-
I agree why would you say that i can make money its free to sign up and when i do BAM!!!!!!!!!! There it go just pay $40 to start kmsl!!!!!!!! as if they say they know the "SECERTS" to making money well darn just let us in on it for free they don't even offer a free trail so you would see if you can acturally make any money or why not say after you have made x amount of $$$ then pay X amount of $$$$ and since it don't ima have to give them a thumbs down who with me :bs: :BangHead:
-
I got sucked in to the online business systems. After paying 7.99 or whatever for the promotional items they wanted me to pay $39 then $300. I sent that kit back real quick. Never again.
-
Anybody who ask you to pay them and work for them are scamers.I would'nt give them the time of day.
-
I would run fast because you shouldn't have to pay anyone to work for them.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
I could not have said this better myself
-
While I agree that there are a lot of ripoff artists out there scheming to take people's money, there are also some legitimate online business people who actually make a decent living from work-at-home sources. I think a lot of the so-called scams get that label from people who get into things with the wrong expectations, like making thousands of dollars overnight or having money coming in without having to put any effort into it, then they get disappointed and angry when that doesn't happen. You can't expect to make any money without any effort. Even here on FC you have to put forth a little effort to be rewarded. You just have to use common sense and do some research. :icon_rr:
-
I believe there are legit work at home sites that you have to pay for and scam work at home sites. Research is key.
-
Most are scams but some are actually legitimate. I work from home for an data entry company. I make pretty good along with another on-site job I have. The only thing about work from home is that most of the time the pay is not steady and there are no benefits.
-
I don't understand, why would anyone pay to work at home, isn't it suppose to be the other way? Talk about a scam :BangHead:
-
i dont think you should have to pay them for work.they should be paying you.doesn't make sense
-
These work at home sites are all scams!
-
:( Yep These Work At Home Sites are Definitely Scams...Especially if they ask for money to get started.
The Only Legite Work At Home Site are the Ones that are 100% FREE to Join...With No Money Up Front.
Those ones are not Scams....So Look For those that Are 100% FREE... :peace: :peace: :peace:

If you're looking for work at home, there's a reason you need to be paid to be home. Why would you pay them, if you're looking to be paid to work. scam to me. But do your own internet search, and include the words "review" and/or "scam." see what you come up with and make your decision from there. Also check the BBB and FTC websites.
-
I feel they are a scam. The object of getting a job is to have the employer pay you for your labor. if they are asking you to pay them then "Something is rotten in Denmark" . There are so many tricky scammers out there and some of them come to you seeming so honest but they are not. Be careful. :BangHead:
-
They are just a bunch of scams taking your hard earned money away. Use your money elsewhere. And better yet I'm here to make money not give it away.
-
If you have to pay for work, I hope you remember the old adage: "If it sounds like it's too good to be true, nine times out of ten it usually is". I would rather have an offer of a job than to pay for it and not have any offer. Besides, it is a big-time rip off, and you are not guaranteed to end up with a job that way. :o ??? :o
-
I do believe that there are some legitimate work at home opportunities out there, but I have yet to find one. Also, I refuse to pay someone to work for them from my home.
-
I would never pay anyone to work from home. There are a lot of scams out there, and it is easy to fall into their trap.
-
It all depends on what they are there is only one that I pay for but I make it make in just a couple of months so then I'm in profit.
-
I think those sites are bogus and I think its a scam as well
-
They always say to steer clear of any site that makes you pay first before you work. They are usually a scam!
-
There are many scams on the internet, meaning you always have to be careful. If there is a business proven to be real or legitimate, I do not see a problem in paying as long as it is affordable, worth it, and you can make money.
-
I think they are scams, and the most obvious ones to spot at that online. It's just counter-intuitive like you said, paying someone else to work for them lol.
-
I would never pay someone in order to work for them. I guess that's what would be called a rip-off.
-
IF you have to pay for the site it is a scam. They are supposed to be paying you for your work not for you to be doing the work for them.
-
It seems like most of what I have seen has been scams of some sort...
-
I have NEVER seen so many ignorant answers in one place before! :BangHead:
It depends on the circumstance and each case needs to be evaluated on it's own. You can't just throw a blanket over the whole mess without even looking at it.
I pay $49 every month and do it gladly, but if I didn't pay them I would be paying someone else more for the same service. How can that be a SCAM?
If you want to make snap decisions that cost you a fortune in lost opportunities, go for it!
Personally I am going to spend a little more time to consider all my options.
-
I never even pay these sites any mind. Why would I pay someone in order to work for them. That's crazy. :sad1:
-
I never even pay these sites any mind. Why would I pay someone in order to work for them. That's crazy. :sad1:
There are a lot of affiliate products and services that require you to use them before you are authorized to resell them, I think that just makes good sense. How can you represent something you have no experience with?
If I can pay $49 a month to become a satisfied customer for a service I can then resell to earn $1,000 a month, I would consider that being crazy like a fox!
-
I have not ventured into these kinda of sites. I think that if it is legit it would not hurt to invest in something to gain more. If someone recommended one I would research it and see if it is for me. Scams are everywhere but I am sure there are some good ones out there also.
-
:thumbsup:Im with ya i try ed and spent money and i got nothing just run around so aware if they ask
for money don't do it.
-
I've never found one that's actually worth it. Let me know if you do.
-
Hello  I'm with you I don't think you should pay someone so that you can work for them. Most of these sites are scams and will take your money and run with it. :bs: The only time I think it's okay to shade some money is to invest the money. Like when you upgrade your paid to click acount or getting cash back to shop. There your increasing your income it makes more sense. If your not sure about the validity of the site you should keep your money in your wallet. ??? :dontknow:
-
No way - especially like for "typing" jobs and similar - I think those are a scam. I wish they weren't cause there are alot of people jobs like that would benefit.
-
And you don't have to pay someone for them to let you work. In my experience the sites like that are pure scams. If any sites wants you to pay them I would personally stay away from that site.
-
Yes, I have fallen for that trick before. Now I know better, it is just too god to be true. All those ads that say you will make $4000 your first month is nothing but a lie. I look at it that way if they are making easy money why do they still ask you to pay for something.
-
I think that any kind of work at home opportunity that requires you to pay up front is a scam. Yes, there are some programs out there that may work, like some of the hyip programs, but that's only for a short period of time and very risky. But if you really want to work online, then you shouldn't have to pay anything. But forget all these little get rich quick programs.
-
In some cases it makes sense but usuallly for work at home sites it is a scam or at the very least not profitable enough to make it worth it. If you think about franchises, A person pays for the right to open a restaurant with a certain brand name. They have to keep up on the regulations of that business and costs associated with it but still pay to use the name hoping that it will bring in more business than some mom and pop shop.
-
Sounds pretty fishy to me. I would stay away from them it sounds like a scam.
-
All of those "work at home" jobs are a complete scam.
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
The only people who make money on this type of deal is the people YOU send money to. I would never send anybody money that promised to tell me how to make millions on the internet. I see these ads where you send them x amount of money and they tell you how you too can make $40,000 a month just like millions of others.
THINK about that for a minute. IF that were possible we wouldn't have the highest unemployment rates we have every had and EVERYONE would be sitting at home spending just 15 minutes a day on the internet and raking in $40,000 a month. I think I did send an email to one of these idiots one time. I never heard anything back.
-
I think it's interesting to read through this thread and see how many don't have a CLUE.
SURE I'd pay money to participate in a program that provides me leverage to earn back a lot more, they are NOT all scams.
You decide who you want to listen to, the ones that are just posting so they can earn the $3 bonus from Fusioncash, or someone who actually knows how to make money?
-
I totally agree with samrhett2...it just doesn't make sense!
-
I totally agree with samrhett2...it just doesn't make sense!
If it costs them money to provide us a service, why shouldn't they be able to charge us for it? That makes sense to me.
-
never pay to work.
-
I feel paying for work leaves the employee feeling used. I have signed up for many. The only employment sites I found is ......... lol.
Thank You very much FusionCash. FusionCash is my employer. You got to work it. :notworthy: I am a Sweatshop Helper-monkey Manager in my establishment. It is not easy getting workers based on my pay-scale rate. :dontknow:
-
I haven't found too many "legitamite" sites... Good for those that have tho!!
-
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER PAY FOR WORK AT HOME UNLESS ITS RECOMMENDED BY SOMEONE YOU REALLY TRUST WHO HAS WORKED FOR IT AND BEEN PAID.
-
Well simply put, no way. I would never pay any site to work for them.
-
17 pages. Geez. Never trust them. There's jobs that require nothing except a sharp mind.
-
You shouldn't have to pay to work for them. Most of those sites are making money off of you paying them.
-
I refuse those people big time. Talk about total ripoffs
-
I shouldn't have to pay a fee for a service I am providing to you. I'm trying to make money not give it away. Sound like a scam to me. :bs:
-
If you have to pay someone to work for them, then something isn't right!!!!!
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
I feel the same way...paying someone to work for them just sounds crazy...the people who post these websites must feel like we are all idiots.
-
Sometimes I feel like I pay to go to work after I get my paycheck and see the taxes that have been withheld.
-
These places are most likely scammers.
-
I myself have been taken by these kinds of things have learned my lesson though and will never again pay to work for someone I do wish I could find more sites like Fusion cash though I love it here ;D
-
I don't think you should have to pay someone to work for them.
I say they are scams. Now there are some home based business that are very legitimate and they do not cost a whole lot to join. Those are the ones I trust. But you shouldn't have to pay someone to work for them, its supposed to be the other way around. Steer clear of home sites like this.
-
Sometimes I feel like I pay to go to work after I get my paycheck and see the taxes that have been withheld.
Yeah, that's the way I feel, too! But I guess we should be grateful for the little bit that's left over?!
-
They are scams. I wouldn't even apply with them.
-
Most of those work at home sites charge a substantial fee just to get started. Sure don't agree with that approach.
-
Yeah usually those are scams, we know this one isn't
-
I would not pay money to a work-at-home site. However, I believe that if you want to start a home-based business, you are going to have to put some capital towards it.
-
Even if it's legit, I'd never pay someone just qualify for a job cuz been scammed too many times!
