Title: Ask the next person anything
Post by: dreamyxo on March 13, 2010, 02:36:35 pm
How it works:
1) Answer the question that the person before you asks.
2) Pose a question for the next person to answer.

I'll start.

FIRST QUESTION:

What made you smile today?

Question:How do u get a man to understand when he just wont listen?
Title: Re: Ask the next person anything
Post by: tzs on March 16, 2010, 04:55:06 am
You have to speak to him on his level, guys don't think like girls do, they are more visual-type and "fix-it" type!! So if you present them with a problem, they will immediately try to fix it, or think they are not doing enough to fix it and they get frustrated, and the fight begins. Try to think like a man does and how he would listen to you if you wouldn't listen, you know, put yourself in his shoes!!!

Q: what is your favorite book?
Title: Re: Ask the next person anything
Post by: lvstephanie on March 25, 2010, 08:15:00 am
Oh man... I have so many books to choose from... I like George RR Martin's series. The Dexter ones are pretty good, esp. if you're a fan of the series. Probably the one that really stands out is The Golden Key by Melanie Rawn, Jennifer Roberson & Kate Elliott. I think it was originally going to be a series, but with so many authors, there was bound to be trouble. Very good fantasy read, however.

what color are your eyes?
Title: Re: Ask the next person anything
Post by: lvstephanie on March 29, 2010, 08:55:21 am
Brown. Same as my dog's puppy-dog looks she gives me when I'm not petting her...

(I know that this is more about a person's perceptions and opinions, but tzs and jjweb232, the real reason is because of the scattering of light (or more accurately, Rayleigh Scattering). When the light enters our atmosphere, certain wavelengths get scattered more than others; blue gets scattered more than red or yellow so during the day the sky appears blue. Likewise at sunset, esp. when the sun is below the horizon, the sky appears red closest to where the sun disappeared and gradually turns to a blue the further away from the horizon. This is also why the sun appears yellow when looked more directly on Earth -- the sun is actually producing white light so in space where there is no atmosphere to scatter the light, the sun would appear to be white.)

Would you rather have more technological advancements or an equality in the technologies we already have? For example, when a faster computer first comes out, it starts off expensive to cover the costs of R&D but gradually decreases in price so that more people can afford them. With this example, if there was a cap on the price of computers, more people would be able to afford them when they first came out (the equality in the technology), but the computer company would not be able to recover the R&D costs as quickly so it would take the company longer to have enough money to research the next advancement.

Answer: The longest day I've ever experienced in my life would have to be the day when my friend Lindsay committed suicide. I stayed on the line with her for hours, afraid to hang up. She hung up.

Next question: Who do you love most, and why?

Oh Wow, a million times Wow. You are so brave.

Let me see, the person I love the most, at the risk of sound conceited is me, and that is because I have to be able to love myself to the point that my love radiates outward so that others may benefit from the love I have to give. I know it sounds weird, but it is hard to love others unless you know love. That is my philosophy, as flawed as it may sound.
