You trust people and they stab you in back so in my personal opinion the less people know about you the better off you are!

Well...I mean, you don't want to give away information so that people can hurt you but at the same time, you have to be willing
to put yourself out there...or else you'll never grow into a better person!

Unfortunately today it is hard to trust people. There is always someone out there just waiting to mess with your life in one form or another. I have a few close friends and I tell them what I need them to know and they in turn do the same. Privacy is important to me, so I don't dish out my info unless I feel its necessary. Protecting your privacy is a way of life today.

You never expect a friend to turn on you, but it has happened to me, but in turn the person she told my private business to, told me and said to watch my back because she is a snake. Trusting someone is really hard but you try not to let such incidences stop you from being friendly towards others. You only have to keep your private business to yourself.

I would have to ask you the better off you are in terms of what? If you are referring to succeeding in earring money online, especially in terms of referrals, I couldn't disagree with you more. I've been online for sometime now. My main purpose was really for research purposes and only recently decided I'd like to make at least a few bucks online. I was quick to discover that one of the best ways is through acquiring referrals. In order to do that you need to trust people. You probably will get stiffed here and there. But that's the chance you have to take. What you really need to do is suck it up and move on . Like anything in life, nothing is guaranteed, but if you put yourself out there and take the risk continuously in an honest fashion, you will be successful. Actually, this is true in any aspect of your life.

I dont trust many people either because of the reasons you posted of, but occasionally I do give others a chance to get to know me, but it takes a long time for me to trust a person.
The person has to earn my trust, but I do give people a chance if they show me that they are worth that chance, but I'm not a trusting person and dont believe in blind trust of anyone, because you cant trust anyone unconditionally even long time friends its sad but true, we hear all the time about best friends, lovers, husbands, even family members being stabbed in the back or stabbing someone in the back, it just goes to show that there's no such thing as best friends, dont get me wrong I do believe in friendship but not best friendship, meaning I dont believe in trusting someone with all my personal business and having someone all involved in any and everything in my life because these days even someone you've trusted for years can do wrong by you. so to answer your question its very important to me to be private without completely cutting myself off from the world.

The more things people know about you the more things they can use against you. I've always been a private person. I never put all my business out there like that. I share things with very few people. If it's someone who you haven't known for a long time or don't have a close relationship then maybe it's better not to share everything.

Private information should always be kept private. There may be a few things you can choose to tell someone you trust, but you should make sure this is something they cannot use against you.

I am quite private about my life on the internet. It just seems so scary to me, the sheer vastness of the net.

know less people is good but, if one of your friends know someone and they're ok with you and if you would like them to be your friend its ok, but if they're not within the friends of friends group watch out carefully for them that's how i think of it
