Title: be very careful!
Post by: roieboat on December 30, 2007, 05:41:36 am
I'm sure someone at some point has posted this, but just so it will be fresh in everyone's mind...be careful and read the fine print...
I did what I THOUGHT was a free offer, for some cell phone thing, and I ended up with a subscription to something showing up on my cell bill.  I just cancelled it, and told AT&T I didn't mean to order it and they took it right off.  But just be careful!!

Hi guys, just wanted to add I signed up for some of those cell phone deals thinking they were free and I had charges up to $180 billed to my cell but Nextel took the charges off.  I now fully read everything :)

I think Cellfish is the only offer i have found that doesnt try to add some charge to your phone service, to be honest, on the other sites im a member of, when i come across 'cellphone' offers i ignore them immediately so i dont even have to look at them..besides i use my cellphone for what its intended for, im not that bored with myself where i need all the extra bells an whistles...

yes... read carefully... as each n everyone of them that charges tell you right on the page you enter your phone number into... go to the bottom of that page n read the fine print.. it is there... most of them tho only charge you a buck or up to 5 for the 1st month... and most of the ones that charge 5 the payout is 10 or so.. so it's worth it if it's something you want anyways... but yes read and read all of it... as the start out proce maynot even be a full month but only a week or so.. so know what you are agreeing to :)
