the latest time i've ever slept until, would probably
be 9:00pm. that's pm, not am. back
when i could stay up all night and all morning (or
even a few days in a row) i broke a few of my own
records  :P  lol.

i stayed up all night into the afternoon of the next
day, and crashed until 9pm.

there was also a time i stayed up for 3 consecutive
days and nights. and the weirdest part of this fiasco,
is that i met my fiance of now 8 years during that trio.
see? i always felt like i was missing something when i
actually went to bed on time. haha  ;D

When I worked, not sleeping enough was a real drag.  I'm one of those people that need at least 10 hours of sleep every 24 hours.  Don't know why, it's always been like that.  I'm not a morning person (never have been), and during my working years, it was like pulling teeth to get going in the morning.  Now I'm retired, and can get my 10 hours easily.  Also, night time seems to be my best productive hours.

Another thing, once I'm asleep, you can run a Locomotive through the bedroom and I'll sleep right on.  About 29 years ago, I needed surgery.  The Anesthesiologist put me under, and my surgery lasted approx. 3 hours.  Was suppose to wake up in recovery in 2-3 hours.  I finally did wake up, but 12 hours later.  I realized they had me hooked up to a breathing machine, ect.  My doctor said I took 10 years off his life.  Some people don't wake up (learned later).  They like where they are (gone deep), and just stay there.  Kinda scary.  Is there anybody else like this?  I'd like to hear from you.

If I'm left alone I can sleep about 12 hours, although I usually sleep about 6 or 7. I Always wake up about an hour after I fall asleep though, and fall right back to sleep, weird.
