counterparts? Do they do the time the same as the male sex offenders get?

I don't know about length of time in jail and such, but it seems like the public hatred is probably less. Maybe not exactly "less", but different at least. I don't think people are as scared of women-even if it's not fair or appropriate.

In all honesty I would have to say no, which is kinda sad because regardless of what gender they are they did something bad and should be viewed with equally.

I think they are not considered to be as dangerous, which is not fair because they do just as much damage as male offenders.

I don't believe the female sex offenders don't get treated the same as male sex offenders for the simple fact that it is rarely reported when a female is a sex offender (or rarely believed when it is reported).

Statistically, they're not. There are numerous inequalities in the US Justice System...

they are not treated equally as far as i have heard. i saw a special on television about it probably a year ago.
