Title: For Dog Lovers
Post by: attantillo on July 14, 2010, 04:12:06 pm
Hey everyone, so I recently got a new puppy. She is a Great Dane whom I named Lady Duchess. She is so precious and so adorable. I am so emotionally attached to her. I just wish ya'll could see her. She is 6 weeks old now and 10 lbs. Do ya'll have a dog or more than one? If so, tell me about them. Dogs and puppies are such precious creatures that have changed peoples lives alot.

I personally don't have a dog,  :-[ but I am a firm believer they give people so much happiness as they are loyal companions to humans right till the end.  :dog: They take away a lot of our sadness and provide unconditional love.

I'm waiting for some funding help for a service dog...until that comes to completion, I "share" a dog with a friend :)

My little sister has a dog that hates me. She still has her moments when she'll be nice to me and she's cute, but for the most part she barks and growls at me for no reason and sometimes attacks my feet. We used to have a black lab that was such a sweet dog and I wish I could have another dog as nice as her. I'd really love to have a papillon or maybe a puggle, but I'd probably just adopt whatever was cutest and sweetest from the animal shelter.

Congrats on your new found family member!  She will be a beautiful lady if you continue to love her the way you do right now.

I have two dogs.  An Australian Stubby Tailed Cattle Dog and a mixed breed of Blue Heeler and Jack Russel Terrior.

My dog's name is Mooshi which means small, cute, little girl.  However, she is no longer small and outgrew her paws!  She is so funny!  We call her Moo for short and she is smart and full of personality.  She knows the words ball, bone, treat, and ride lol.

We have 3 dogs: Bailey, Trudie and Willow. We got them from the pound that's by our house. Really sweet dogs, especially Willow. She was about to be euthanized when we got her.

My little Yorkie is named Molly...she is the best baby girl. I'd be so lost without her. Pets become a part of your Family, like Children.

I had 2 Rotties but had to put one to sleep because she had a stroke.... Now,  my Rottie left is lonesome and needs a friend so we are looking for a mini Aussie...  My Rotties was sisters and had never been separated so now my Rottie left has started howling all night like she is calling her lost sister...  they bring much joy  but losing them brings much sadness

we had to put of dog down this past june because he would fall over when he would try to sleep. we got him from my fiances parents after they divorsed and he was already going down hill then. we had him for 3 months .. he was such a sweetheart. i loved everyone. i miss him. he had cancer behind his nose and they dr said he wasnt responding to the meds. i still dont understand how she would know that without another x ray. he wasnt eating ne more and always wanted outside so we knew something was going on so my fiances mom decided it was time to let him go. she's seen him suffer enough, he was 14. he lived a good life. now he's not suffering ne more.

I got a rescue dog from a local shelter back in the summer of 2006 and when I got pregnant in 2008, she became jealous and possessive, to the point of sleeping and even jumping on my stomach in my sleep.  So, knowing that for the safety of my daughter the dog had to go, my parents adopted her.  They still have her, and the dog and child avoid each other like the plague.
