what do you say about arranged marriage

Mmm. Personally, I wouldn't like it because it would be best to get married with a person you fall in love with and not get married just because my parents told me that I have to get married to a certain person that they chose for me. It basically would take away my individuality. They wouldn't be taking into account what I like in a person. Everyone should have their own choice to marry whom they choose. I call it marrying for love and not convenience.

In a sense I agree with you Cuba. Marriage should be based on love. What if the two involved in the prearranged marriage knew of this growing up and they fell in love with each other as they were growing up. Or een those that fall in love after the marriage? It has its pros and cons.

I think it’s an outdated practice. I certainly don’t want anyone to arrange a marriage for me. It is like allowing somebody to dictate your own personal path for happiness. Everyone has their own individual right and freedom to choose their life partner. Only a person’s heart will know the right person. :heart: Marriage and family is a lifelong commitment not to be taken lightly. :peace:
