I completed the offer about 3 weeks ago & still waiting :-
-
It was the first CC offer I completed. I did it yesterday, they put a $15.xx hold on my account, charged a 1$ debit fee, and I received credit within 20 minutes of completion. I canceled it today because I was no longer interested, and I'm hoping that I really do get that $15.xx dollars back...
Either way, I completed the offer and was credited within 15-20 minutes.
-
Oh I didnt notice a hold on my cc account... I guess because I used amex thats why i didnt get the $1 fee. I guess no credit for me. I kept the account for a couple weeks but didnt get the credit. Oh well :'(
Thanks for responding!
-
Your very welcome :)
I've been getting wired on caffeine and completing offers all day. Just Cashed Out $40.05 8)
I'm wondering if it's a hold, or if I screwed something up and signed up for a month of service... I remember reading that it's 15 something a month after the one month trial, so that would explain it if anything... If not, oh well I'm now 40$ richer :icon_rr:

How about the mobile offers? Im so afraid I will get crazy charges on my cell bill. Anyone have any experience with those? Whats the best way to not incur charges on your cell bill?
-
its all in a matter of whether you think its legit or whether you're willing to take the risk. Some people have been charged by their phone companies, though. Its risky. go for it if you really want it - aka, to the point where you're willing to take the risk of charges (i haven't done any cellphone ones, but thats just me being cautious - maybe there could be good ones)
-
yea, i feel the same when it comes to the cell phone offers too... i would rather be safe than sorry :)
Thanks!
-
It goes back to the "only complete offers you are interested in" rule. My advice would be, if you want it to begin with, go for it. If you don't want to end up with the service, pick another offer ;)
I did one cell-related offer a while back... I don't remember which... I probably got like a dollar credit for doing it but the hassle of checking the phone bill to see if it was charged or not wasn't worth the dollar.
Hope this helps :)

I did the Stamps.com....got my credit....and now that credit and a few other small ones have been yanked.
-
Stamps.com 2008-01-18 $8.00
Worked for me!
-
Worked for me!
-
I got credited within minutes
-
I got credited fine.
-
stamps.com worked, i got credited after i downloaded it. i saw a $1 verification on my bank account, but they dont charge when you cancel your free trial after a couple of days.
-
i just did this offer about 15 minute ago and just got paid.
-
Did the stamps offer about an hour ago. have yet to check my account. Sometimes I feel like the amount of money you have to spend on trial offers outweighs the reward. Anybody else feel this way??? ::)
-
Again, that is why you are supposed to be interested in the offer, so if you do not get credit (for whatever reason) you still want the service...sounds to me like you are just doing the offers for the money aspect and not out of true interest.
-
I did the stamps today and got credit within an hour. After I downloaded the program.

I have been credited. However should you cancel the service,be sure to get an e-mail from them saying you canceled and save it.I've had my card charged and refunded twice. If i did'nt have a copy of the 1st.cancelation notice i can't imagen the problem's i would have had. They charge @ the end of a billing cycle. And alway's read the term's of any purchase.
-
Im extreamly happy with stamps.com.. I have ordered alot of supplies now and waiting for my shipping labels I have like 4 boxes waiting to be packed up and shipped
I love this.. so conveniant, I also needed a stamp so i logged on printed one and good to go :) .. saves time and gas.

I just did stamps yesterday, this morning I saw they charged my account $14.95. Went to site and read again! It clearly states 4 week trail and no charge till after that?????? Calling them today.
-
They charge to make sure you have the money in the account for when the trial is up. When you cancel the trial or whatever, it will be credited back into your account.
-
Hi! Stamps should not take out of your account till after the 4 week trial. Someone mentioned that they take it out before just to make sure you have money in the account and then credit it back at the end of the trial period, Not True. Well, they didn't do me that way and if they did you this way and your money was not in the account and they make you go overdrawn, fight for it and demand that they refund your overdraft fee. I did this just today with another company who was not suppose to take money out of my account and I demanded my money back because I was told by a Person, yes a Person, that it was not going to be taken out of my account. By money I mean every bit they took out including my 20.00 overdraft fee, and they did. Don't let these companies screw you, just do what I did and hope it works.
-
Thanks, I talked with them, and they said, Well its just a hold on your money. But I still dont have ACCESS to that money for 4 weeks, so in other words, its still NOT THERE, its just not in their account yet. Careful on the CC offers people, doing them, always make sure you have the money to spare. Overdrafts suck and defeat the whole purpose of being here!!
-
I did not get credit and it has been over 24 hours.
-
I completed the offer a few days ago but haven't been credited :dontknow:
-
I did the stamps.com offer and my FC account was credited within 5 minutes. Stamps.com did a "pending" debit on my bank account. When I checked my bank account a $15.94 debit amount was pending but never went through. I did call stamps.com about it and they told me that it would remain pending until the 4 week trial was over and then it would actually come out of my account.
-
I completed the offer, and got credited. It took about 3 or 4 days to credit, but I noticed that was about the time it took for them to process my transaction. I recieved the stamps yesterday, and they are beautiful!! They are a great idea for christmas cards or birthday invitations :)
-
oops...i was referring to photo stamps in my previous post. I did, however, get credited for stamps.com as well.
-
I completed the offer a few days ago but haven't been credited :dontknow:
i hope this gets credited i just signed up
-
I completed and never got the credit either since november2007
-
wow that was a long time ago. are you a first time costumer when you tried stamps.com? if so, sometimes, they want you to print out your free postage that comes with the free trial before they give you credited. but, in my case, it worked just fine. got my credit after a few mins.
-
Yes.. I got credited. :icon_rr:
-
Well I did the photostamps offer a couple of hours ago...no credit yet so we'll see.
I think last time I did stamps.com and didn't receive credit.
Are they 2 different offers? idk...i'm confrused.......lol :dontknow:
-
i love the photostamps offer! i just did it not even 5 mins ago... i bought a 1.00 gift card sent it to my friend tru email, and had credit for the offer within 2 mins :) as far as any holds or anything. i checked my account and there is no holds on it. only the 1.00 that i charged for the offer.
as far as the cell phone offers.. there is only one i had found that does not charge... but wether you think they are legit or not really don't matter as far as finding ones that don't charge as they all state on their home page what their monthly fees are and that they start auto. like bids, there is alot of bid4prizes offers, so you have alot to pick from. but your only supposed to do one. and be interested in it. other wise why do an offer to get paid 5 bucks for a 9.99 a month fee. and why would you want to do 5 of those lol.
-
i did photostamps lastnight, still no credit. oh well. :-
-
Still no credit for me............ ???
-
I also did this yesterday and received no credit.
-
I received credit the same day
-
The people who don't get credit you do complete the offer right... :BangHead: because I haven't not (double negative ooooooo) recieved any credit for anything I've either not completed or a survey I've never qualifed for!!!! :angry7:
-
Hey guys i received my credit a couple hrs after I filled everything out.
-
i did everything right.
-
I did everything right too. :dontknow:
-
I got credit
-
I didn't get credited for stamps.com
-
i have done both stamps.com offers that were on here and had been credited instant for both. i also did them both within a day - 3 from the time they got put on the site. i always try to do offers while they are still new ( a week old at most ) get alot better credit rating that way then if i wait long.
-
I did the offer yesterday and received credit after i downloaded the application within 5 minutes.
-
i did it yesterday and was credited within minutes!
-
Yup, credited nearly instantly :]
-
I did stamps.com but havnt gotten credit. Im still keeping the account tho.. SO MUCH easier than going to the darn post office,.. fr ONE stamp.. lol
-
I did this one an hour or so ago and no credit yet, as well, they put a hold on $17.94 from my bank account and say it won't be refunded for 6-7 business days. I don't like that =/.
-
I was credited a few minutes after signing up and installing the stamp thing. i'm hoping tho that they don't charge my account, because i've read of that happening with them before... :dontknow:
-
It was one of the first offers I did and it credited right away, plus $5 in free postage--sweet! :)
-
I was not credited and got a 18 dollar hold put on my account
-
As I've said before, I received credit for it. And some free stamps, too! The problem was when the took out a 15.xx$ hold on my account. They never did give it back. I never fought it, it seemed like too much work, so I never got around to it. Either way, be careful and monitor your credit card activity so you catch anything while you can still take action against it.
-
I did it but so far I have not received any credit. :'(
-
i think the best way to use cc offers is get a prepaid debit card i think its called green dot i dont know much about it but i think its worth looking into you could either get visa or mastercard
-
i did this about a week ago and i was credited like 5 minutes later
-
well i'll think twice before completing a trial offer :P
-
You have to complete it from the link given. Are you sure you didn't retype the site or something, because if you did it takes away FC's referral thing in the link.
-
worked!
-
cool now how to do this without the credit card?
-
i did stamps .com but when it got to the credit card i ended it
-
I haven't tried it, but I did do netflix and never got credited for it! I even waited until I had been charged twice from netflix to be sure that I was a "paying member" of the site. Still nuthin'!! no credit. that stinks.
-
I did the Stamps.com offer- it's actually really nice. If you have a printer at home you can calibrate it and it'll give you $5 in free postage (printed on the envelopes, even if you don't buy the labels and stuff!) I did cancel it before the end of the trial though - because I didn't want to buy the labels and scale and stuff, but I got credit for it AND $5 in free postage! It took a few days.
