Title: no raise for the retriederment says the cost of living has

the goverment say's the cost of living has't going up. What place are they from. Not where I live. No raises we were barely making on what we got. now what? any thoughts. ???

If your talking about the SSI recipients not getting a Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) for 2010 and now 2011?  The COLA is based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) formula that does not factor in food, utilities, or rents.  Since this formula was drafted in the 70's, there's a new law before the house to change the formula for SSI recipients.
