With the New Year just behind us, how many of you are willing to take a pledge to embrace who you are today and who you will be in the weeks, months, and years ahead, no matter what the scale reads or what size you wear? Will you accept yourself today and embrace tomorrow?
:bootyshake:

No, I will continue my futile efforts to turn back the clock. :BangHead:
-
I feel like my age has nowhere left to go but up.
Unless of course I pull a Hiro from the TV Heroes...
-
lol I will not be happy with who I am at this moment I have made it my mission to loose weight and I will lose weight. By my 32 nd bday I will be at my goal weight :)
-
I have also made it my goal to lose weight. I am officially tired of being overweight. I got tired of being obese so i lost some weight now im considered overweight which i am happy with but now i want to be "normal" and feel pretty and be in shape :icon_rr:
-
I feel good at my age...love it and looking toward getting old...the people around me make me happy. Overall I feel great about myself, but I could probably lose a little bit of weight...maybe I will just to have good health.
-
I don't have a problem with my age. Sometimes I think it would be nice to be back in my 40's but I really don't want to do those years over again. I am very active for my age and think I still look and feel very young.
-
I accept it for what it is but try to improve ME every day in many different ways. Thank goodness I was blessed with good genetics and longevity in the family.

My mother lived until she was 101. She lived in her own house until the last few months of her life. Thankfully no dimensia, etc. I am not sure I want to live that long, although my kids would like that. What stinks about getting older is the aches and pains that go with the knees, etc. Outside of that, I am pretty happy with my life. Like a lot of us, I could lose some weight.
-
I love my age. I'm 27 but don't look it. People confuse me for a high school student. That's awesome. lol!
-
Happy with who I am? Not hardly. Honestly, is anyone truly happy with who they are. Even supermodels, some of the most beautiful women in the world don't like the way they look. They are constantly striving or perfection. The key is to just be satisfied. If I can just be that I will be happy.
-
I accept who I am. I appreciate my age...at least I'm still alive. I'll be 50 in Jan. We cannot stress over what life is NOT...it is what we make it.
-
ok i guess have more aches and pains since turning 50 but overall doing pretty good so far.
-
Yes, I have no other choice but to except for who I am, what I am, imperfections, warts and all. ;D We’re only here for a short period of time. We’re here to learn, develop, and improve ourself. If we don’t like or accept ourself, then no one else will. :peace:

I am 60 and I feel great. I look like I'm 35. This comes from eating the right foods, including meat, not taking doctors medicines with all the chemicals and drinking water that is not loaded with parasites, viruses, bacteria or fluoride. I don't jog but I do exercise occasionally. I am happy with my life and love who I am. I have two beautiful children who are grown and on their own. They are not into drugs and have no outside kids. I think I would call my life very successful. I don't have much money, but with all that I do have I would say my life is all that and a bag of chips.
-
Not happy about it cuz it seems getting more and more each year.
But I believe if I keep having a postive attitue then age shouldn't be a problem to me. Plus I think I still look good for my age!! :D
-
Actually I love my age, I don’t want to be younger or older I want to be me exactly me I think every age has its own charm and beauty. And I always tell my age I don’t hide it although most of people think I am younger than my age with a few years some even give me 10 years younger but I always correct it :)
-
I feel just fine about it.
-
im fine with my age im still young after all :angel11:
-
Age is just a number. It depends on how well you've taken care of yourself through the years with eating right and exercising. You are what you eat is a true statement.
-
At 47 years of age I feel
pretty good.

I agree wholeheartedly. You are what you eat and how you think.
-
Well I believe college is always good :)
-
I'm pretty happy with what I am-of course, as most other females, I will continue to try to lose a little weight and keep myself looking younger. I think it's in our genes :)

I hate being 18 year old. I wish I was 21 and older . Being 18 sucks because there aren't many fun for 18 year olds out there in the world. I want to be 21. I definitely do not want to being under 18 because I feel like I get less freedom when I'm underage. I don't like to eat turkey. I think turkey is disgusting.
-
I'm 26 now and I'm definitely starting to feel a little old as I get closer to 30. My 20's are going by very fast, and with all the increased responsibilites, I long to be a kid again lol. I wish I could age to 23 and then reset back to 18 over and over again lol.
-
No, I will continue my futile efforts to turn back the clock. :BangHead:
LOL That's the spirit!
-
I love being young, I wish it could be that way forever /sigh
-
I feel old, I have already lived through two thirds of my life. Granted that's only to 30, but tis still a fair chunk that I miss.
-
wow, thats a deep question...so simple but so deep in a way.... i would say that i have been taking the steps in order to accept my self....and by doing so i have been being honest to loved someones..even if they might not like it, but im being honest n it makes me feel better about being real instead of fake. im only 22yrs old...but feel like im 35yrs....and have been thro alot more then ppl my age....but i can honestly say that even tho im stil trying to be a better person and accept everything...i dont feel that this is were i want to be in my life...i should be a lot better
-
i believe with me turning 25, its like really time to get more into myself and accomplish my goals
-
i know i dont feel a day over 25.. although im 29. So... your only as young/ old as you feel :D
-
i like my age but i do not like getting older so i guess i would have to say that i wish i could stay about 21 forever...i wish my dog and cat could freeze at there ages now lol
-
It's the funny thing age, right? Everyday we all get a little older, and maybe a little wiser. There are some good years and bad years. That's the only way we learn, right. Learn from are mistakes. We should all have a huge list of goals. They should be never ending. Because without goals where would we be. So bring on all the years i got left.
-
I am proud of the age that I am. I almost died at age 27, so every additional year is a blessing to me. I guess liking or not liking your age is all in your perspective on life. If you are happy with who you are and what you have, then your age does not matter as much, but the people you get to spend your time with, and the blessings you have received and bestowed.
-
i am above 30.but still look and feel younger than my age.people not belive my age.. :)
-
one word... "Urgh".
-
Honestly, I feel much older than my age is. I am like many of you right now trying to lose weight. I just want to be a size I was before my son was born a year ago. That doesn't sound too hard but it is. In age I am only 22, however I feel and have always been told that I act more mature.
-
I am A-OK with my age.
I am 53. I am in good health.
I don't have any aches and pains.
I am enjoying this stage of life. I take it one day at a time.
-
I feel 'okay' with my age. Sometimes I look in the mirror and wonder whether to embrace my gray hairs or dye them. Meanwhile, I am getting grayer by the day. I have minor aches and pains and want to blame them on age, which to a degree is true; however, some are from old injuries and some from inactivity. In essence, I guess how I feel about my age relates to how I feel on a particular day. :)
-
I feel great about my age-always have. I love me and I give thanks everyday for still being alive with my health. You only get older if you continue to live.
-
This is my last year of my twenties :( but I still feel like I'm in my mid twenties. I am currently pregnant with my fourth and final child, so I am looking forward to having this baby, losing the baby weight, and not having to gain it back with another baby. It's funny how quickly you start to look older though. I was just looking at a picture of my husband and I when we met and I think we both look so young and that we look so different now, but other people say we still pretty much look the same. I'll take it!!

I dont feel 23 years old out of school looking for my first "big girl" job. I feel older.....I have a home and a small family of my own with a 3 almost 4 year old running around, planning for a wedding, thinking about making our family bigger once i do find a job, and my friends are still in school, dating and not even thinking about kids or even marriage......BUT I LOVE MY LIFE AND EVRYONE IN IT, EVEN THOUGH AT TIMES IT IS HARD
-
I am 38 with a 21 year old daughter and I still get carded to buy drinks. I am not at all unhappy with my age lol!
-

-
I feel good about my age, I can still get out play with the kids and run.
