That's going to be my situation soon, I already have a boy and when I was almost 17 weeks, they said it was kind of soon to tell but thought I'm having a girl. How is 3 years apart working for you other moms? What about those of you with a boy and girl 3 years apart, do they get along well? My sister and I are 5 years apart and I thought that was too far apart because we're not very close.

My boyfriend's mom has three children, one 18, one 14, and one 5. I don't know if it makes things much easier or more difficult for her, but if the middle one is any indication.. It must be making things super difficult.

I have two girls three years apart. They are adults and are the best of friends. They both work downtown now and see each other three or four times a week by going for walks at noon. Growing up they pretty much had their own set of friends, but could have fun with each other if they were alone.

We have six kids and five of them are three years apart with no problems. Only #2 and #3 are six years apart.
