I've never had it happen before but someone got ahold of my Paypal password. I can't imagine how they did because I never fell for those fake emails or anything. It really freaks me out because I always trusted that paypal was really secure.

No thank goodness. Maybe changing your password often is the key. I watched on the news the other day don't sign into any accounts that require a password if you are in a public place that has free wifi like Mcdonalds, Starbucks, libraries, airports because it's easy for people to get your passwords from the places that have free wifi. After seeing that I will only sign into banking accounts and other accounts with passwords only from home or a connection where you have to put in a password.

No, luckily I suppose. I agree that you should only access personal information on a secured network. It's WAY too easy to get someones information if they're on an unsecure network. Also, make sure your password has a symbol in it, it helps security.

No, but someone did hijack my craigslist account. I had to change my password. One of my managers at work had someone get into her paypal account and buy items using her paypal account. She was out a lot of money. She reported this to paypal and they made it good. paypal put the money back into her account. I think things like this happen a lot. It is scary...... :crybaby2: :BangHead:
