:D I find the question silly as all heck LMAO..I see nothing wrong with Merry Christmas it does not make me feel weird because so called religious meaning or whatever..I think it is silly it is even a debate..There is no harm in Saying it,I think it is nice..So me personally either or and making a issue out of it is pure sillyness!! :P

I don't care either way. Happy Holidays encompasses the whole season starting with Thanksgiving through New Years which can also include non Christian holidays such as Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Years Eve and day, Winter Solstis. Some people don't celebrate Xmas but might celebrate other holidays during that time.

Happy Holidays to all of Fusion cash member's .

Merry Christmas to all Fusion Cash members and may God bless you (even if you are not a believer). :)
-
Happy Holidays to all members on Fusion Cash.
-
merry christmas to all and god loves all.

I use both sayings Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, but I guess that I say Merry Christmas way more. I think its fine to say either one
-
I always say merry christmas if you say merry christmas to me, and happy holidays if you don't say anything to me first

I work at Walmart as a people greeter and I wish everyone that comes in the store a Merry Christmas. I have never had anyone say anything about it. But I live in the Bible belt.
JESUS is the reason for the season. You can deny it. You can hide it. You can get offended by it...angry about it...try to stop it. But you can NEVER change it!
This is my belief. I am a Christian.
-
I use either depending on who I encounter rather in a store or on the phone
-
Merry Christmas is what I like however I think you should be able to use Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays whatever you feel. You shouldn't have to use happy holidays just to be politically correct.
-
I have used both.I see no difference.
-
Merry Christmas is the wright way because. it is the birth of Christ is what the session is all bout!
-
I like merry christmas. saying "happy holidays" is weird because we are trying too hard to make everyone feel included, but christmas is the only holiday being celebrated now, so...????? haha but basically i agree. :D

Merry christmas and advance happy new year to everybody.

I love Christmas! I hope everyone has a blessed one!

I, too, think it is silly that this is even a debate. Wether religious or not, the holiday on December 25th is still Christmas. I think Merry Christmas is appropriate at all times. The media just likes to make a big deal out of nothing!
-
Well this time of year everyone is celebrating something and not just Xmas, so I think it is very appropriate to say Happy Holidays. Everyone do not celebrate Xmas, so it is not polite to tell them Marry Xmas. :peace:

:sad1: I have really thought about this question and I must admit I am very proud to the beliefs I have towards this time of year. I am an advid believer in wishing others a MERRY CHRISTMAS. After all, this great country was founded on freedom to worship God. This season is celebrated because of the birth of Christ. Government and big business' are forgetting that. We are constantly bomb-barded to conform . Take prayer out of schools; remove "IN GOD WE TRUST" from our money. But if you are more comfortable in saying HAPPY HOLIDAYS then more power to you. I am not here to judge you, only to love you and to except you as you are. So, in ending my opinion; I want to say that I am wishing each and everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a safe and extremely BLESSED NEW YEAR!!!!! :peace:

I had my first cash out, so how long do I have to wait to do more surveys
-
Merry Christmas and a blessed year.
-
I perfer to say Merry Christmas but everyone has their own saying that they perfer.
-
Either way is fine with me. I don't judge other people so whatever they want to say is not offensive to me.
-
I think it's silly for this to be an issue. I say it both ways just depends on the day and what comes out of my mouth lol. I honestly don't see how saying Merry Christmas could offend someone :dontknow:
-
I use Merry Christmas with friends and family that I know won't be upset. But I might say happy holidays to coworkers or neighbors I don't know very well. I try to be respectful of others beliefs and traditions. Happy Holidays to all.
-
I reply Merry Christmas. Did you know that Christmas started as a pagan holiday of Yule and the Catholic Church planned the celebration of Christ's birth to coincide with the dates of the pagan holiday around winter solstice in order to diminish the pagan celebration. We still have yule logs and other traditions based on the original pagan holiday though.
-
I always say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to ppl. I don't see what the big deal is, but I think saying both phrases together keeps in mind of all religious backgrounds and it does sound a little bit sweeter of the tongue. :P
:peace: &

Merry Christmas.. people have the right to believe what they want and to freedom of speech.
-
I say Merry Christmas because that is what I celebrate. But why is a friendly greeting offensive anyway? People are too sensitive.
