Title: doyou prefer the pool or the beach

me i grew up on the water in new jersey and i like the beach but i prefer a pool to man people at the beach kicking sand in your face but i love the water so i enjoy the pool more so now then the beach :wave: :heart: :star: :star:

I like going to both but I prefer the pool more than going to the beach where you don't have to worry about getting dirty from the sand and especially when it gets in your hair.

The beach is more scenic, but if i am swimming i prefer a pool. I would love to have  a pool at my house but cant afford it!

I prefer a pool to the beach. Beaches are pretty and I enjoy looking out at the water, but I hate swimming in them. Sand is not my friend.

I prefer the pool. Beaches are nice, but I am not too crazy about the sand.

 I prefer the pool over the beach, I dont like the beach that much because of all the sand gets everywhere  :BangHead:

The beach definitely, I lifeguard over the summers and just love the beachhhh

I've never been to the beach but I can't help but think of Jaws. (There was a marathon of Jaws movies on yesterday) And jellyfish and being swept out by the tide...I think I'll stick with pools.

i prefer the pool, when i was young my friend got bit by a crab, and i hated the beach ever since

I much prefer the beach, especially when it's brisk with the wind and the chill.  That's my favorite time to go and stroll.  I love the smell of the ocean, the sound of the gulls, and searching for shells and whatever other little surprises the ocean waves bring in.  It's just a wonderful and relaxing get-a-way that I just love being a part of!  :)

I love both I am a swimmer and have been since i was a kid I love the pool because I have more room to just swim around and be free but I love the beach too the sand and atmosphere both are great for different reasons

I think the beach because it's easier to relax as long as it's not too crowded.

Definitely the pool because most pools have chlorine which kills all the bacterias. Though, I love going to the beach.  ;)

Definitely the beach...pool is nice for a gathering of family and friends.  Beach much more relaxing...lol

I find it amazing too, but I am from NJ where there has always been a beach close by, but i also realize that there many states in this country that are land locked.

I love going to the beach have since i wass a kid but now that I am older I would prefer to do my swimming in a pool  :fish:

Too many movies of creatures lurking in the depths for me to be able to enjoy the ocean....and sand is not my friend. LOL

I'm a water girl thats for sure! I could float in a pool for hours. Its one of my favorite things to do in the summer but I grew up on Martha's Vineyard so I love the ocean too! I love sitting on the beach listening to the waves reading a book for hours. Its so relaxing. Cant wait to go this year.

POOL all the way!! I do like the beach but not the fact that i have to fight the water lol I like to know where the bottom is! :wave:

I like to go to the beach better.  Hope I can go again soon.  I went to Fla year before last and I like it very much.  I do not swim but I got in the water and it was so peaceful.  To look for miles and miles and see nothing but water was so neat.

 i would prefer a private pool in my home but that is really dreaming. otherwise I would prefer a nice sandy beach, not too many people though. Being in nature is great. Nice sunshine and warm water.

I myself prefer the pool however I love the beach but not the taste of the salty water it is nasty so I love to go in the pool over the beach but I need a tan badly so I will be going to rockaway beach this summer.

It depends on where the beach is. If I go to Florida, I definitely prefer the beach. If I am home, MD, I prefer a pool. The beaches in FL, seem to be more clear than the ones at home.

Pool...I work every summer at the beaches as a lifeguard and it really makes you hate the beaches no matter how much of "beach person" you are.  Plus at a pool there is no messy sand or annoying neighbors to ruin your fun time.
