Title: Have you ever broken a bone?
Post by: sommap on January 12, 2011, 08:40:41 am: I think the worst I ever had was a broken toe or finger. I had one daughter break herthigh bone when she was 9. She spent months in the hospital and then came home in a body cast. It was almost five months before she was good to go.

The last time was back in 85; I was involved in an auto accident and I was crushed from the waist down plus the whole left side of my face was shattered. I had to go through alot of different surgeries which took me almost 2 years to recover. I had to relearn how to stand, walk and talk. I still have some problems doing certain things but I have learned how to work around my disabilities. Having broken bones is no laughing matter and I sympathize with anyone who has to go through it. :peace:

A friend of mine was in a car accident and broke a lot of bones also. He was young and he healed fairly well, but still sometimes uses a cane for his back. Bless your heart. You showed incredible inner strength to bring yourself back. I'm going to be praying for you. Take care of yourself. God Bless.

I crashed while racing my four wheeler a few years ago.... broke my hand, a finger, and my hip. And sprained just about everything else....
