Title: Private people
Post by: marieelissa on January 16, 2011, 07:07:28 pm: Are there any people that respect their privacy or do they just put it all out there? Something I am seeing on this forum..lots of people talking about personal issues and it kind makes me :o

So true! Once you put it on a forum, or facebook, it is there F-O-R-E-V-E-R. The answer is that I dont put anything private out there. I might say I have kids, but never their names. I will name my state, but nothing more specific. And my 'relationship problems' are exactly that, mine.

Then again, I am a moody, anti-social grouch, so take it with a grain of salt:)

And be rude to them! People do so many ignorant things on the internet.

I agree that it is probably the anonymity of it. And also people who are having relationship problems just want to vent them somewhere and have someone else validate their feelings....even if they don't know the person.

I have always tried to remember that anything I post is out there for the world to see FOREVER so if I wouldn't say something to someone's face then I try not to say it anywhere else. :)

I hear people say things and see them do things I would never dream of, but not just on online forums, but out in world as well.
